25.01.2022 Desperate to separate the line between her personal life and work life in her hair salon at the rear of her house, Kylie (from Tickled Pink Hair Salon) wanted some extra privacy in the form of a screen and deck combination. Little Wing were called, and after discussion it became apparent that what kylie wanted was a personal outdoor space she could make her own and inhabit with her quirky designer tastes. Rather than giving her a mere blank, plain canvas to work with Greg from Little Wing sourced old hardwood fencing and created something a little more than expected... Wait to see what she does with her new space....
23.01.2022 On thier things to list for a long time this couple have finally taken action to make the entrance of thier home much more of a statement. Designed by the client we were able to make his vision a reality
21.01.2022 Tired of thier existing appliances and splashback, this couple decided to spruce up the style of thier kitchen with a simple splashback renovation - what a difference a splashback makes!
20.01.2022 A similar story to another client - this owner was in a horrible situation where the entire end of thier home - all the windows and doors in this picture - all completely rotten. When we first inspected the damage to the sills and frames i could push my finger through to the inside. Given the extent of the damage - this window was still carrying a tile roof load and was sitting on rot!! Needlesss to say they were realisitcally facing a full demolition and rebuild to this area of thier house - an expensive reno with no value added for the expense Fortunately for this owner we were able to completely restore the timber windows to thier original condtion. An incredible amount of work went into it but it was a huge saving and relief from a nightmare that could have been alot lot worse.
18.01.2022 A dining table (made of timber from a demolished sheep shearing shed) i made about 7 years ago desperately needed to be restored to all its original glory....this has been on my to do list for about 5 years. In all fairness to me, I'm not lazy, i was just waiting until my eldest boy Maverick was old enough to do it for me. Project supervised by Little Wing Construction.
17.01.2022 Tired of life at the mere age of nearly 100 years, these beautiful old windows were well over due for some cosmetic surgery due to water damage. We removed all areas of rot and restored these windows to their original glory.
17.01.2022 Having just moved into this huge Malvern pad, this owner was keen and quick about fixing things he didn't like about his new home. After breaking our backs and minds removing the heaviest and hugest sliding door/ room divider on earth it was straight out to renovate the back area with a "modwood" nail/ screw free deck with built in planter boxes and pergola over the existing spa. We also constructed a bamboo feature wall which when combined with the deck and plants belted his existing backyard out of the park.....
16.01.2022 rough in stage for plumber and electrician
16.01.2022 Built in the 90s, all the windows on this mansion have faired poorly against weather and time. Having been repaired ineffectively previously it hasn't taken long before all the windows need repair against rot. A huge job but one that will see all windows fixed properly - rot removed, chemically treated, repaired and working, and painted.
11.01.2022 Unfortunate events have led to this owner needing to increase openings and make adjustments to his home to accomodate wheelchair access. We made modifications to this main room switching around a cavity slider and building in a ramp to suit existing floor to make life a bit easier for them. The owner then took over and completed the painting.
10.01.2022 On her to do list for a long time, this client felt it was time to erase this nightmare bathroom from her consciousness completely and get it in shape for 2016. With a bit of thought we were able to steal some space out of another room, change the layout of the bathroom and give them a much better shower. While we were at it we continued the tiles out to thier living area to really finish things off!
05.01.2022 Discontent with the standard recess area in their children's rooms this Brighton duo decided to put the finishing touches on their kids bedrooms. Seriously, what's not to love about some genuine american oak wall and ceiling lining?
04.01.2022 After nearly a decade of contemplation, these clients finally took the plunge and upgraded the existing, disjointed kitchen/ dining area seamlessly into one beautiful space. Working with the constraints of old, non existent tiles we were able to tie this entire space together as one.
03.01.2022 They say money can't buy happiness - not true! Years and 3 replacement barbeque covers later, Andy could not take another year weathering the storms and bearing the summer sun whilst trying to impress his guests with his bbq cooking skills. This roof may be small but it sure made a huge difference! Andy is now taking orders for snags and chops in storms and heat waves! While we were at it we made up some custom brackets for a new 4m wide motorised awning for the other side of his house to get the height needed to be most effective. Photos of finished product to come!
01.01.2022 Weather damaged and rotten from the outside right through to inside this timber and glass sunroom area was forcing a frankston couple into a $20,000+ renovation to the end of thier house - an area they did not want to spend money on and a renovation that would add little if any value to thier home - but they had to do something. We were able to get around all the headaches associated with a full blown renovation - the cost, permits, plans, councils etc and were able to repair the existing window back to its original condition - alot of work but a cheaper and better outcome for this very happy couple who escaped this nightmare without too much trouble. Tv's and playstations all round kids!
01.01.2022 This bathroom renovation has long been on the mind of this owner for obvious reasons. Though not currently using the bathroom as a laundry aswell we made plans to tuck a tidy little euro laundry in the corner.
