20.01.2022 Our Excursion to our local pet shop A few week's ago one of our pet fish sadly had passed and gone to fishy heaven All the children were very sad about this, and kept saying that our current fish is very lonely because he lost a friend. The children insisted that we get a new fish. A few weeks later, that is exactly what we did! The preschoolers, parent volunteers and educators all went in search for a new fish. Finally, the children picked not 1 but 2 fish to join our family One of our preschoolers enjoyed experiencing how to use a credit card to pay for our fish, and they were officially ours... stay tuned and follow us to see our new fish settle in their new home and meet our current fish 'Goldy'!

18.01.2022 Our 3D Treasure Hunt - The educators at Little Winners prepared a fun educational activity to challenge the children to find specific 3D shapes. The Little Winners teamed up and went searching for each 3D shape that was called out. After all their 3D learning this month, the children showed recognition of the shapes... I think February has been a successful learning month so far

The Little Winners experienced making dumplings from scratch, they practiced their fine motor skills by chopping up the ingredients, they even experienced how to use the food scales to weigh the correct amount of meat- great way to introduce our Numeracy subject for next month Bon Appetit Little Winners

13.01.2022 ~3D Learning~ Our preschoolers are now familiar with their 2D shape recognition, in order to challenge them we have started our 3D teaching off with a fun game we can all play from our Little Winners Preschool Textbook Guide

09.01.2022 Children in this day and age are exposed and will forever be exposed to digital devices. When we asked the children what was on their iPad devices, they right away gave a list of games and shows that they watch. What we are encouraging to teach our children is that iPads can also be used for other learning that is fun. The children showed engagement and concentration while they practiced writing their names. New age learning combined with traditional learning is a healthy balance we think to get the children exposed to a world that is forever evolving
