20.01.2022 Cocktails and Me Time - Yes please A day in the like of a working mumma (aka me ) - Up early - Wake the kids... - Drop Hubby at Train Station - Get kids ready for school (only had to remind the oldest to get dressed about 7 times ) - School run - Head to my lovely newborn session (check out my stories for the AMAZING hair on the little bub from today) - Drive home from session - Get a call from school to collect one child as he is unwell - Post office run - Phone call with the lovely Caitlin from Team Steph @stephgorton__ - Now I’m sitting at school waiting for #2 to finish and expecting a call any second now from his anaesthetist for a procedure tomorrow - Home for some yummy pancakes - Stand in my walk in robe for 20 minutes trying on things and complaining I have nothing to wear - Drive into the city to swap my kids and my mum car with the husband so I can go have some me time! What is this Me time I hear you say??? It’s time that you rarely ever take because you feel guilty but then realise afterwards that it makes you a better person and your whole family benefits from your recharged mindset. 20.01.2022 Happy Sunday!! . . So I caught up with some amazing people yesterday but as usual my going out anxiety crept in. I don’t like my clothes, I don’t like the way I look, that’s it - I’m not going etc etc - fairly normal for me. A friend called with the same dilemmas and I told her as long as you show up with a good personality and positive attitude, nobody will care what you are wearing. So I decided to take my own advice and I’m so glad I did. .... . Sometimes it can be so hard to adjust your mindset but once you do, it’s so freeing. I wore confidence and a smile yesterday and I had a GREAT time! These are quick, simple and fun sessions - only 20 minutes so that the kids don't get too bothered by my crazy dancing and singing to Christmas Carols There will be 2 setups, the one pictured below and a simple white setup which I will add to my stories so keep your eyes open. 14.01.2022 Thank you! Thank you to all my beautiful clients that trusted me with their new little ones. Thank you to all the families that chose me to be part of such special moments. Thank you to my husband and my boys for being so encouraging and supportive and reminding me to chase my dreams. 2020 taught everyone a lot of different things. It mostly reminded me to stop and be in the moment - something that I sometimes can struggle to do. ... I won’t say here’s to a better 2021 because who knows what it has in store for us, but I will say here’s to being open to new friendships, new opportunities and new experiences. 2021 is already shaping up to be a busy one which I’m super excited and grateful for. There are 2 types of kids at a cake smash...... . . 1) The Reserved Child - this child will very hesitantly place one finger on the cake and then look up to see if we are ok with it. 06.01.2022 Liam // 3.5 weeks If you are looking for a newborn session and keep getting told if your baby is over 2 weeks, they are too old - please don’t be discouraged and stop asking. I photograph newborns older than 2 weeks quote often and their sessions are just as beautiful. If you want photos of your baby, any age is a good age. You will never regret having the photos, you will only regret not having them xo

01.01.2022 Behind this cute face is a brave boy who was born 10 and a half weeks premature, taking everyone by suprise. Noah spent two months in the NICU where he took the ups and downs in his stride, showing nothing but determination and resilience. The NICU experience at first is overwhelming, but soon enough it becomes a place where you feel safe, the nurses and parents in there become a great support network and friends on the other side.... And..as if having a premature baby isnt frightening enough, having one during a pandemic is a whole new ballgame! - beautiful words from Noahs mum @lauren_fonceca_ who complimented @tinysparkswa for their amazing support
