19.01.2022 This is an extremely hard post to write.... After 20 years of Beauty Therapy, it is time for my next chapter. As many of you know I have studied and graduated as an Enrolled Nurse. I could never have gotten through the last few years without you. You have all been so encouraging and supportive.... I have been offered a fantastic opportunity in the nursing world and would be mad to let it pass me by. I would love to be able to juggle the 2 worlds but unfortunately it won't work, therefore as a family we have decided to close Little Wonder's door and I am retiring from beauty. This has been such a heart breaking decision and I have been dreading this post. You're not just clients and colleagues to me, your my friends. We have shared so many life moments over the last 20 years, tears and so much laughter. I am truly going to miss this. I am going to have to finish up by Wed 28th April. I understand this is fast approaching, things have moved quicker than I thought. So please come and have your last treatment with me and we can share a laugh and a tear together. Please if you have received or purchased a gift voucher I encourage you to book in ASAP, or contact me for other arrangements. It is hard to put into words how grateful my family and I are to have had you in our lives.

17.01.2022 EMERGENCY WARNING FOR A BUSHFIRE BURNING UNDER EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS Issued for Hicks Hill Road, Orchard Road, Lewis Street, Frith Road near Cherry Gardens... You are now in danger. Take shelter in a solid building. Do not leave or enter this area in a vehicle or on foot. It is too late to leave as the roads will not be safe. Conditions are dangerous and firefighters are now unable to prevent the fire spreading. Shelter before the fire arrives as heat can kill you well before the flames reach you. The CHERRY GARDENS, HICKS HILL ROAD fire is uncontrolled. This scrub fire is burning in a North Easterly direction towards Strathalbyn Road Echunga, Strathalbyn Road Mylor, Biggs Flat. Conditions are continually changing. For updates listen to your local ABC radio station on a battery powered radio, visit the CFS website www.cfs.sa.gov.au or phone the Bushfire Information Hotline on 1800 362 361. Homes are not built to withstand these fire conditions, however they can be used as a shelter against heat from the fire. You may lose power, water, phone and data connections. Fire crews are responding but you should not expect a firefighter at your door. WHAT TO DO: Check and follow your Bushfire Survival Plan. Protect yourself from the fire's heat, put on protective clothing. Tell family or friends of your plan. If you are driving and become stuck in your car, park away from bushes, cover yourself, get onto the floor as the windows may break from the intense heat. Identify a spot to shelter in, with more than one exit. Keep moving so you are away from the heat of the fire. Bring pets inside and restrain them. Move flammable materials such as doormats, wheelie bins and outdoor furniture away from your house. Close doors and windows to keep smoke out. If you have sprinklers, turn them on to wet the area. If the building catches fire, go to an area already burnt. Check around you for anything burning. See more

What a year 2020 has been! With the kind heart of my landlord and you guys Little Wonder has been able to keep the door open. We have had shared many laughs, tears and awesome playlists.
