25.01.2022 The Daily Reflection (Tuesday 6 April 2021) Jesus said to her, "Mary!" She turned and said to him in Hebrew, "Rabbouni," which means Teacher. Jesus said to her, "Stop holding on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the One who sent me. But go to the others and tell them, "I am going to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God'". (John 20: 16 - 17) I, too, need to stop holding on to the man Jesus. He has returned to the One who sent him. I need to let go of his scarred feet and embrace his glory that is so bright it makes him unrecognisable to even his closest friends. The risen Christ is bigger than my own personal friend. He is that, but much more. He will do more in my life as my risen Lord than he could ever do walking the earth.

25.01.2022 Susan Daily's beautiful depiction of Easter. Susan's artwork is amazing in its scope and a powerful resource for ministry. Thanks Susan - scripture comes to life through your engaging artwork.

24.01.2022 The Daily Reflection (Monday 5 April 2021) Easter Monday Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went away quickly from the tomb, fearful yet overjoyed, and ran to announce the news to his disciples. And behold, Jesus met them on their way and greeted them. They approached, embraced his feet and did him homage. (Matthew 28: 8 - 9)... The two Marys are running to tell the disciples what the angel has told them, and Jesus meets them on the way. This happens often, Jesus meeting us on the way: Jesus met Paul on the way to Damascus. Jesus met the blind man on the road. Jesus meets us when we are going somewhere else. Look for him along the way.

17.01.2022 Easter is not magical. It is transcendent. Jesus is not somewhere else. Christ is everywhere - through him all creation holds together. He lives and breathes through his body - the Church. What does it mean to live as Easter people? It means we live as 'a people', all parts of Christ's Body working together toward a single purpose: love.
