16.01.2022 Day 3: isolation ... it may sound bad but we have so many things to be grateful for. I’ve just had 5 amazing days in NZ , with my travelling buddies Of 35 yrs ago. We may be getting older and living different lives but still love to laugh, reminisce (just a few stories.. did we really do that?)and celebrate our time together. It’s the best medicine to lift your spirits . Look for the positive in every negative and you could be the person to change not only your life but someone else’s . Have a great week ! 09.01.2022 Are you an essential worker, continually washing and sanitizing your hands, more than most people? Are you experiencing dry, cracked and aging hands? I have used 'Epoch hand sanitizer' which has essential oils and ingredients to help prevent dryness and contains over 60% alcohol, which is a recommendation. ... Since using a normal sanitizer (because I ran out of Epoch) my hands have been so dry and looking old. Epoch is now back in stock with limited supply Do your hands need some love? Here is my secret. Choose a good sanitizer that's kind to your hands and a hand lotion. If your hands are extremely dry , I would recommend trying the Epoch Sole solution . Did you know that even though your makeup may say ‘oil free’ it can have fillers like plastic in it? This prevents the skin from breathing , absorbing moisture and also clogs up the pores, which causes premature ageing and ongoing skin conditions TIP: How can you test if your makeup is ‘oil free’ Pop a dob of makeup in water , stir and if it binds together like the 2 on the left, chances are it has oil or plastics in it which is not good. If it’s cloudy it allows your skin to breathe and absorb moisture

05.01.2022 How is your health ? Beware: Extremely Low Air Quality due to fires. On Monday , I was only outside for 20 minutes talking to a friend , my throat was stinging and my eyes were gritty. I live no where near the fires , so I can't imagine what it would be like if we were amongst it . ... Please take care by taking simple precautions Experiencing wheezing, chest tightness and difficulty breathing . Call 000 Stay inside if possible, close windows and doors If using air conditioner switch to 'recycle' or 'recirculate' Avoid exercise Purchase a P2 or N95 filter mask (pharmacy or hardware) to block out fine particles . Handkerchief/paper dusk masks not effective If you are sensitive , have heart / lung conditions or asthma , make sure you have asthma plan and medication with you at all times.
