This training encouraged participants to provide good hospitality in order to support ecotourism in the area. 20+ woman of Kerepua Village in West Coast Santo participated in the training, which is part of Tabwemasana Eco Tours. These activities in Vanuatu have been funded by Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund.



14.01.2022 Live & Learn Solomon Islands has played an important role creating significant water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) improvements for Aruligo School. With support from the Australian Government and partnerships with Water For Women and Plan International we not only improved WASH access for students of the school but also the nearby community. The Water for Women project, New Times, New Targets, provided the catalyst for the school administration to push for improvements to the school's WASH facilities.

12.01.2022 In December 2020 Live & Learn PNG completed the final session in a series of training workshops designed to enhance job opportunities for local women. Women from multiple wards were shown the basics of soap making, face mask sewing and the construction of reusable menstrual pads. There was great interest from the participants in the training. Each of the women will receive hand-sewing kits and ingredients for soap making so that they can take the skills they have learned ba...ck to their homes and communities. These workshops were made possible through the Water For Women Project in PNG, in partnership with Plan International Australia.
