19.01.2022 Omg dinner time can be such a struggle some nights. I served up some spag bol which my 4 year old literally ate last week. Nope didn't like it tonight and just sat there picking the cheese off the top and letting it go cold She then whinged that her cheese hadn't melted in like her 9 year old brother's had, I heated it up again but then this time there were 'bits' in it that were yuk ... After getting rather cranky I asked if she wanted me to help her eat it... She responded saying 'No it's just yuk' as soon as I mentioned shower and straight to bed she chucked a tantrum saying 'No I want you to help me'. I said 'when you are ready to talk nice come and talk to me' 10 mins later she comes in to me and says ' look mum I put Daddy's belt on' I have to laugh or I'll cry. I know other mum's go through the same situations and just dread dinner time. Please know that you are not alone and you are doing the best you can. Hopefully tonight is a "Good dinner" night at your house.

18.01.2022 It's not often that I get to a cafe on my own. But today I took the opportunity to do just that. Went to morning 1 of my sons sports carnival (another one Friday) I had an hour before my next appointment so I thought why not get myself a treat and catch up on a few emails/messages and of course some online shopping What is everyone else up to this morning.
14.01.2022 School holidays are usually a time for fun and adventure for some,however in todays 'New Normal' what is everyone planning to do with the kids. My kids have 3 weeks off for June/July and we were hoping to get out and explore our beautiful Territory hubby can get the time off work. We had originally planned to go on a cruise this year but luckily hadn't booked anything before our friend Covid came along. It has definitely turned the world upside down but I'm so thankful for... being in a safe place. This will all be a thing of the past and we will be telling stories for years to come. Life is really what you make it and in these trying times has really made me stop and appreciate the small things that I may have overlooked before, and we have become even more close in the process of slowing down. I would definitely love to know what ideas you have for the holidays.

13.01.2022 Kids were giving me a massage tonight. Noah says 'Oh when I do this it makes your back look like jello' meanwhile the other kid is moving my legs around and using my feet like the steering wheel of a racecar. Wasn't as relaxing as I hoped
