20.01.2022 Here we have a existing 6.6 kw system consisting of 23 x 315 panels and a 5 kw Fronius inverter. The customer was still getting $300 power bills and enquired if we could possibly add to the system size. We have added another 13 x 370 watt panels and a second Fronius 5 kw inverter. ... This will help bring down the cost of his power bill. The lesson here is that the original installation company didn’t ask or understand the needs and usage of the customer. Had they done so it would of been a lot cheaper and and more convenient to go with a bigger system from the start. Make sure your supplier/installation company understand your needs and electricity usage. 12.01.2022 We also replace broken down inverters. From an old Single tracking 5 kw Inveter to a new dual tracking 5 kw Sungrow Inverter. The customers panels are perfectly fine but the Inverter had broken down. The customer is on the old 44 cents feed in tariff so we just replaced the inverter for a new one, and altered his wiring to suit the new inverter. 05.01.2022 Did your realise, the cleaner your solar panels are the more efficiently they will work ? I have noticed an immediate increase in production of 15 % increased output after cleaning a set of dirty solar panels. The panels in this picture would be losing at least 30 %-35% efficiency. The other thing to consider is the life of the module if they are kept clean they will last longer too. You could be losing $80 - $100 a quarter from dirty solar panels.
