14.01.2022 Keqing Sun use of fish as a subject matter for portraiture may at first seem absurd. However, Sun reminds us of the old adage about the goldfish with a 7 second memory. In a facepaced modern world of photography, each image has such little importance. We discard them, neglect them and forget about them. Only to swim once around the bowl and be surprised anew at the images we took. Also they are such beautiful and intricate creatures that so few ever take the time to study, making the fish a keen subject to face the lens.
