25.01.2022 This was a fun shoot in the park yesterday! We did have a little to contend with... filming of a Netflix series being shot in Port Douglas (thank you to the team for being so accommodating!) The Wind... Runaway Toddlers - totally normal! Ants!! But it all made for great photos! The family were interested in having a palm back drop for sentimental reasons - how amazing is this - the first names of their beautiful children spell P-A-L-M Even Edmund featured in the photos, mums giant teddy that she has had since she was 18! She has been recording Milestone photos with him with her children - so special! Your children are beautiful! I had a great time with you yesterday - I hope you did too - your Online Gallery is ready to view <3 <3 <3

I feel like I haven’t been able to give you all the attention I was able to with your big sisters pregnancy but I trust that you feel me hug you with my heart that loves you so much and hope that you hear me singing and talking to you. I trust that you feel me cuddling you when I hold and rub my b...elly and I hope you can feel in your soul how proud I am of you and how much I trust your ability and instinct in this rite of passage into the real world that you and I are both preparing for. Your big sister Mahli talks to you and hugs you and has even started walking around with an imaginary you, showing you the world and teaching you to drink milk, walk and swim. Mahli: my first born, the one who has taught me so much about everything. I am so grateful for you and the wisdom you radiated and made me listen to while you were in the womb ...and continue to. 08.01.2022 Today was to be the first wedding of my 2020 season. Sadly for my beautiful New Zealand couple there was no way they could proceed with their plans of a destination wedding. By the end of the Easter weekend the same story will be said for three other couples that were booked with us. #heartbreaking I really feel for all the #weddings that can no longer go ahead due to #covid Dreams have been crushed but we are all in this together and hopefully it means that everyone can cel...ebrate that little bit harder when all this is over and the #isolation laws have been lifted. I keep reminding myself this is #notforever we need to #adapt So, business is a little quiet but were offering some new products! 06.01.2022 I came to a realization yesterday, after delving deep into my soul as a result of talking with a very special woman when she invited me into a circle of powerful women. Going inside and discovering why I was feeling so frustrated, unproductive and depressed was confronting but it gave me clarity, inspiration and peace The catalyst to this was my computer breaking. The tool that takes my intangible ideas and makes them a product that can be seen. Without it I felt incredibly... lost. So much is going on in the world outside the same walls that we are being forced into isolation of (those of us lucky to have safety and shelter). We are unable to do the things that bring us joy outside the home. So I found myself stuck in a vortex of feeling like time had stopped but also that I am still too busy to take advantage of this forced time together. Something I have constantly wished for. So, I have reassessed what is important to me. As a result, I am embracing and surrendering to what we have no control over. At this point I dont have control over government laws, I do have control over how I am going to spend this time of unemployment. And that is to strengthen the love and connection of my family. Use this time to create incredible memories together amidst of the Covid-19 lockdown that we wouldnt otherwise have. Who knows how long or short this precious time together will be. Here is a collection of the Fairytale stories I have been working on and will continue to as the right time presents itself. I also have some more ideas that I cant wait to share with you all #projectevolution

06.01.2022 We did (both in style and geographically) yesterday - away from the rainforest, beach and studio photos we usually do...and we LOVED it!! I photographed Chantel and Jasmin just late last year. We had a beautiful maternity session at special locations along the Port Douglas Coastline - Yule Point and Pebbly Beach - and then shortly after at their house for their newborn photos. Low and behold they have been blessed with another baby and will have two bab...ies under 1 year old soon! Absolutely AMAZING!! I am so happy for this beautiful family. Again their cute furball was involved and this time Jasmin's mum who is currently on an unplanned extended overseas stay due to Covid was here for the photos. Last year Chantel's mum was here who also lives overseas so both have been very special photo sessions. This was a model call out - my amazing mama Sue this beautiful lace maternity gown (named Ivy) which is perfect for my maternity, newborn and breastfeeding sessions. This has been put in place by the Federal Government to try and flatten the curve of Covid-19. We are finding weddings are rescheduling to 2021 or local couples choosing to elope. ... Whatever you choose to do we will do everything we can to assist with your new plans. Hearts are being broken, dreams are being crushed, lives have changed forever but we will get through this together!! As I always say - the two most important people at the wedding are you. You and the celebrant and your witnesses are the only ones that legally need to be there to formalize your marriage. We have doubled as witnesses plenty of times. 02.01.2022 Look at darling little Miss Charlotte Look at her rosy cheeks and stunning deepest blue of blue eyes! It was such a pleasure to meet you sweet princess, and your mum and one of your sisters. Can you believe this little one has 9 siblings! And mum has been homeschooling them for 15 years!! What an INCREDIBLE family!!... Charlotte's mum wrote me a note that thanked me for donating my time to this wonderful cause and for playing a part in letting the world see that Down Syndrome is not a bad thing but that its the complete opposite. From meeting and photographing these families I can see the immense joy and happiness that I've always known these gorgeous children to bring. Of course there can be health issues that other children + families might not experience but the love, bond and smiles get each other through it. I am so thrilled to be a photographer for the 2020 Celebrate T21 book! 01.01.2022 We have been very quiet on the page which is not a true reflection of how busy weve been! Unfortunately no weddings but we had a huge response to our + sessions that we will share soon. Our II IO have been super popular as have our and IOT sessions. This week we have been very busy making props and sets!!! We now offer gold floral rings with matching flower crowns for mama and daughter and a gorgeous hanging vine backdrop. We cant wait to share some gorgeous shoots with you

01.01.2022 The Cottonfields have been harvested and their cycle almost complete. The hues were muted and brown and we LOVE them!! The soft cotton lace of our new maternity gowns, Ivy and Hazel contrasted so beautifully on the drying cotton field and our beautiful model, Jessica looked perfect in them. The day of our photo session also marked the last day of #WorldBreastfeedingWeek a week that I am so passionate about.
