22.01.2022 That’s right! No mascara on your beautiful lash extensions! Mascara will basically ruin your extensions, specially volume lashes. It closes the beautiful fluffy fans and it’s almost impossible to wash of all the residue. Therefore creating a build up around the lashes that long term can cause bacterial growth and also poor lash retention. Swipe left to see what happens when mascara is applied on volume lashes. Not that nice at all right? ... If you after a darker look ask your artist if that’s possible and always schedule your infills regularly 2-3 weeks. 20.01.2022 If you have decided to have a break from lash extensions it’s really important that You will get them removed professionally. There is 2 safe options to remove extensions: 1.Manually (as done on this picture). ... Extensions are removed with tweezers with the same technique used during infills when removing grown out lashes. This is My preference when there is not many extensions remaining and they mostly all grown out. 2. With professional lash glue remover. (Special gel or cream applied on the lash extensions) It weakens the glue bond and it’s easy to slide off the remaining extensions. This is the only option if removing poorly applied extensions with too much glue. It’s not possible to safety remove your extensions at home in my opinion as it can easily end up pulling out your own natural lashes or worse. If you can’t get your lashes removed professionally I recommend to just leave them to grow out naturally and definitely no pulling or cutting! On the first picture natural lashes straight after removing extensions, middle picture has all the manually removed volume lashes.
