22.01.2022 Katies Taplin's daughters call their grandfather a real life super hero because his job is to save peoples lives. 18.01.2022 Like Mothers Day earlier this year, many of us will miss celebrating with extended family this year. Not in living memory has the imposition been greater on young families, as (mostly) mothers struggle to work full-time jobs whilst introducing children to literacy, maths, science and the concept of wellbeing. Thank both parents this Fathers Day, thank grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whove stepped in as theyve lost their own jobs or stalled in careers and l...earning, and thank our local retailers, supporting families of their own. https://www.thecolourenglish.com.au Little Lintons Sea of Love https://www.hunterminx.com.au https://www.herbaceousflorist.com.au https://sissymteliza.com.au https://www.toyoufromme.com.au Raspberry Soul https://www.onebird.com.au Atticus Finch Clothing

16.01.2022 Andy Meldrum is a legend. Not only is he father to the ever-upbeat Sarah, and lively twins, Millie and Will, he's a reliable hand on deck (or on shore) at Daveys Bay Yacht Club or on an extreme adventure anywhere in the world. With the passing of his own father this year, we're pausing to reflect on the fathers who can't be with their families this year. Reach out and make them feel as loved as Andy this year - they need more support than ever this year.... Happy Fathers Day

15.01.2022 We have the ultimate crepe recipe for Shrove Tuesday. 125g flour 300ml milk (any kind will do) 50 ml vegetable oil 1 egg... Pinch of salt Butter to fry Mix flour, egg, oil and salt with half the milk to minimise the lumps. Add the remaining milk. Set aside for 5 minutes while the pan heats before adding about a teaspoon of butter. Fry away - remember the first pancake is like a lover after heartbreak; it’s not always a keeper.

13.01.2022 Like many children in Victoria, Amber Sealey's children Harper, Holly and Mason have enjoyed spending more time with their dads this year. Some kids have learned more about what their fathers do all day whilst others have experienced the joys of learning to operate tools or the simple pleasure of riding a bike, like Amber's children seen here with dad, Scott, between classes on paths (within a 5km radius). Happy Fathers Day
