These were sent into us today from Lively fan Matty Richardson who’s cousin Chris was up at the Wenlock River recently when they found a Lively Lures Mad Mullet what they thought was snagged in a tree. The lure has been there that long that the tree has grown around the treble. I was at the Wenlock River some 10 years ago so it may very well be one from my own personal tackle box!! You never know...... Hopefully we have more to come on this story soon!

I went on a mission to find some Sootys ...in the murky waters and after a few drenching’s I managed to find a couple of nice fish to take a lure. 01.01.2022 Thomas is up here in Mackay working and contacted me for a day on the water, his target wish species was a GT on a popper, I started him on Queenfish on poppe...rs to get the feel of things to come.after a dozen or so hooked , landed and lost we moved on , second cast with a big popper boom a nice GT slams it, unfortunately the barbless hooks came out near the end of the fight , back into position 3 casts later another Geet slams the popper and all stayed connected and after a great battle he had his GT not bad for his first attempt at GT popping , smiles all round and it sent on it's way , change of location a couple of small Mac tuna landed then another move for some more queenie action on poppers and stick baits, a pleasure guiding you Thomas and great to be able to help you achieve the GT you wanted .
