24.01.2022 This is a clip from my Guitar Heroes Volume 1. It's a meters tune called Sophisticated Cissi / Cissi Strut. The Meters were one of the bands in the early 60's that drove the funk movement from New Orleans. They influenced the likes of Jimmy Hendrix and inspired me to learn this intrumental.... I hope you enjoy!

18.01.2022 Easy Ways to Improvise Using Jazz Classics. I’ve always loved to listen to jazz & I love to play jazz but with my busy schedule I’ve had very few opportunities to play jazz live. With my Classical Guitar practice, running the Music Academy, my own teaching, the Guitar Heroes project (which was my exploration of Classic Rock) and doing the lessons and interviews for Australian Guitar Magazine, I’ve always been busy, but I would still find time each day to improvise in a jazz context. 15.01.2022 What I Have Learned From Steve Flack & The Trinity College Method During my 3 years of playing the guitar, I have found that the guitar is made up of several things which include: slurs, dynamics, rubato, tone, and accents. These aspects can be found imbedded among the pieces which I played: Milonga by Juan Antonio Muro as well as Etude no.7 by Leo Brouwer.... http://steveflackguitaracademy.com/trinity-college-student/

09.01.2022 I'm continuously asked by my students, "why do I make the arrangements of pop songs"? Think of a book or a movie that you've really enjoyed and have been totally involved and engaged in. As you come to the end of the story you already begin to miss the people, the place and the time described in that book or movie and you just wish that it wouldn't end. 02.01.2022 I believe every guitar player inherently has something unique about their playing. They just have to identify what makes them different and develop it. - Jimmy Page A button fell off my jeans recently and I stood there dumbfounded on how to sew it back on.
