22.01.2022 Liverpool Meals on Wheels Volunteers are delivering a much needed four-pack of toilet paper to all our clients, donated by Woolworths. A huge "Thank you" to our wonderful volunteers who are continuing to deliver meals and the much needed toilet paper through these trying times and continuing their support to the most vulnerable in our community.

22.01.2022 We know lots of people are doing it tough. Now more than ever, community and kindness is important as we all do our bit to deal with the impact of COVID-19. For... over 20 years, we have been supporting local communities such as Meals on Wheels Liverpool with care packages for the frail, aged and disabled. We would like to thank our valued customers and business partners who continue to do business with us so we can operate as normal to support our local communities and those in need.

19.01.2022 VOLUNTEERS, we need you!!!! Meals on Wheels would cease to exist without the valuable contribution made by its volunteers. Whilst age and disability may reduce some people’s capacity to get out and about, Meals on Wheels help make it possible for clients to stay in their homes, where most are happiest, and maintain their independence. Our program operates Monday to Friday with deliveries leaving our Centre around 10.30am. Two volunteers go on each delivery run consisting ...of a driver and a volunteer who takes the meals to the service user’s home. Why volunteer? * it enables you to contribute to your community * provides the opportunity for work experience and to gain new and practice current skills * meet new people - volunteering puts you in contact with your community * exchange your time and skills for a new network of friends * stay active We need volunteers to * provide transport when delivering meals to clients * accompany the driver to deliver the meal to the client * assist in the kitchen All our volunteers are required to undertake and criminal record check. Her response our meals are all made with love Thank you Donna! And a big thanks to our chef Annabelle, kitchen staff and volunteers who’s hardwork and love is coming through in our meals.
