21.01.2022 Our youth group is having a water fight tonight! If you are from Year 5 to Year 12 you are totally invited! A small donation is appreciated for Waterworks which is raising funds for water projects in the developing world! Also, we are having a car wash at church tomorrow morning! Come from 8-11 and for a minimum donation of $10 to Waterworks you will get a handwash! All activities are happening at Liverpool South Anglican Church, 152 Graham Avenue, Lurnea.

20.01.2022 Join us, together with other churches in Liverpool, on Easter Sunday at 2pm at Macquarie Street Mall (outside St Luke's Miranda) for a march to Bigge Park with palm fronds and balloons to celebrate Easter! We will then meet together at Bigge Park at 3pm for a time of worship and prayer. Join us as we celebrate alongside other Christians the story of Easter and our Salvation through Jesus' death and resurrection. Praise be to God!

15.01.2022 It’s hard to know how to write this as our hearts are very heavy tonight we met together to pray. We have just found out that our dear friend Deo has had his application for asylum rejected on the grounds that it did not meet the guidelines to be considered. This means that his application did not even reach the minister it probably just got shoved into a pile of applications deemed not important enough for the minister to know. We believe that everyone’s life is import...ant and if you knew Deo’s case you would know that he desperately needs Australia’s protection. As you can imagine, Deo is absolutely devastated. He is petrified about what might happen to him if he returns to Burundi and the consequences it may have for his family. We live in a democratic society and the Government is meant to represent the hopes and dreams of it’s people. Our hope and dream is that Deo can stay and continue to be our friend and a much valued member of our community. We reject the decision made by the Government and ask them to stop sending desperate people away from our country because it is economically convenient. Please stand with us in fighting this decision made by our Government. Please help as, without you, Deo has no hope. Please sign and share this petition!
