16.01.2022 We’ve just received the below communication from the Chief Health Officer to the sport and recreation sector easing restrictions on sport from this weekend. Key... points for community sport are that from Saturday, 26 September 2020: Interregional community sporting competitions (FNSW Competitions inclusive) may recommence without restricting these activities to regions or zones, provided there is a COVID-19 Safety Plan for the school or community sport activity in place; More than one parent may now attend community sporting activities if physical distancing of at least 1.5 metres can be maintained between people that are not from the same household; Non-essential adults should continue to be excluded from sporting activities; Community sports organisations and participants should continue to avoid shared travel arrangements such as car pooling and bus travel; Continue to minimise gatherings before and after the event; and Ensure strict compliance with all other elements of the COVID-19 Safety Plan.

Despite all the challenges and difficulties we have faced during this exceptional year, we made it through successfully.
