Only listed ESSENTIAL BUYERS, Selling Agent auctioneers/clerical staff, LML employees, Contractors and carriers are permitted. Vendors/Personal buyers, Cash buyers and onlookers to stay home. Face Masks to be worn at ALL TIMES and all other ongoing covid rules to be adhered too (ie) sanitization and social distancing. Regards Andrew Lepley

20.01.2022 As we all know, because of the severe outbreaks in Victoria , tighter restrictions for the Covid-19 virus are being applied in South Australia by our Premier, Hon. Stephan Marshall. Taking the current outlook into consideration, I believe that Livestock Markets Ltd should be proactive in also once again placing some restrictions on who should and who should not be in attendance at our sales going forward. As from next week, Monday 10th August I would ask all those who don't n...eed to be at the yards (IE) vendors and onlookers to stay away or at the very least make sure you are nowhere near the selling race where the auction is taking place. Presently the numbers of people attending the complex is not an issue but our social distancing and hygiene certainly is. No one wants to get back to an essential persons attendance scenario again but if that call is to be made in the coming week’s, then it will be made with no questions asked. The saleyard complex is our work place and it is up to us to make sure we keep it safe for all. At this particular time the calf market will still be conducted but if social distancing becomes an issue than we may have to close it down as was the case previously. So in summary, I’m asking for some thoughtfulness from people who need not be at the complex (agents included) to stay away so we can help each other in keeping safe and healthy. 09.01.2022 We have had some requests for our yarding numbers due to the fact they haven't been posted for a couple of weeks. As per the letter from the Saleyard Manager pinned to the top of this page, we are asking that only Agents & Buyers come to the Saleyards for the meantime due to Covid restrictions. Vendors are able to drop off their stock as usual, but we do ask that you leave the yards as soon as you can. As soon as we get the green light for things to return to something close to normal we will let you know. Thank you to all of you for your patience & understanding that this time.
