16.01.2022 I wanted to stop by and say thank you. Thank you for reading what I write, and thank you for caring. I appreciate your kindness and support.... Many have given much so that the rest of us can stay safe. Thank you to you. There have also been many good things for all of us. Unexpectedly good things to come out of this year. Here are 3 things I have learnt. 1. I have made some of the best friends of my life. I treasure you. I work with you. I play with you. Thank you. You know who you are. You are my people. 2. I have also attracted a few people who have truly surprised me by their "unkindness". I have learnt to step to one side. These are not my people. 3. I often wonder if what I'm doing is helpful and if anybody cares about what I'm doing. Today I learnt in the happiest way that it does... and then tonight I learnt in the saddest way, it does. My heart goes out to those of you who are hurting. What else have I learnt? That vulnerability and humour, charm, teachable moments and an overarching spirit of generosity have helped us through the worst of times. That we are all in this together and that we can't get through this without each other. It's all about "we" not about "me". More than ever, I'm so glad that you are part of my "we". Thank you. Sending you much love and every wish for a gentle and kind start to 2021. XOXO

09.01.2022 One year from now I'm going to make a prediction. You'll be thinking about New Years Eve and resolutions for 2022...and you'll be saying to yourself....Continue reading

06.01.2022 Life often is unfair and unjust and throws us unwanted challenges. That's a given. And despite wanting to believe that the Universe will give us "all of the good" in the end, the reality is that we have to sit with and work out our own pathway forward. ... Magical thinking only gets us so far. How we rise up to those challenges, is what creates who we become. Its what shapes us,helps us to open up to new learning and writing a new and better story for ourselves. For example, I would never have understood ADHD, or have become a professional and certified ADHD Coach( which led to lots of other studies) if I hadn't been faced with working out what seemed to me at the time, a huge problem. Changing our mindset is where its at. When I'm feeling stuck with unwelcome challenges, I ask myself 3 questions. How would my 90 year old self handle this? Secondly, what will I continue to tolerate or put up with? ( Have you ever stopped to think about what you are tired of or tired of "putting up with"?) Thirdly, I ask myself, what am I available for? Can you feel the difference in your energy when you ask yourself this? Now, to get what you want, you have to "let go of" what you don't want to create the space for the new. For some of us, we're available for things that weigh us down:(in no particular order) Stinking Thinking Overwhelm Drama Lack of money Ordinariousness (in the not so good way of being ordinary) Ill Health Exhaustion Scarcity People pleasing Confusion and foggy thinking Procrastination Stress Frustration Insecurity For others, we're available for very different energies: Love Self-discipline Focus Clarity More than enough Fun Joy Confidence Vibrant Health If you're like most humans, you have a mixture of all of these. But the best way to have what you want is to think about how you want your life to feel and look, roll up your sleeves, do the work, and become unavailable for anything that weighs you down. And you'll be surprised how quickly life changes. Have you made the decision as to how you want your 2021 to be? I have ... and I'm planning a whole lot more of this. Love ease... XOXO

02.01.2022 Are you having an Utterly. Impossible .Month? You know the kind of month where if you think about it, your heart seizes up... all those "to do" lists, appointments, drink dates, Christmas "parties" where you feel like you are slowly dying inside .... desperately trying to look interested in the conversation with the person sitting beside you, while your head is going crazy with thoughts of all the other things you could be doing? And you think to yourself... there's no way t...hat I'm going to survive this? I remember my last Utterly. Impossible. Month and the conversation I had with myself. I wrote out everything that had happened and what I needed to do. THEN I gave myself a talking to. You know...one of "those" honest to goodness conversations you have with your "bestie" when all you want is sympathy and tea... I listened to myself (as a bestie does) and then I took myself in hand: How about surprising yourself? Huh. I never considered that option. I might surprise myself. I might discover Mensa style brain-power, untold reserves of creativity, an uncanny capacity for ease...and some strong boundaries. I might be OK. I might be more than OK. I might be astonishing. The next time you find yourself facing a mountain of " gotta do's" or something horrible when life doesn't work out, like the Christmas cards that won't get sent for yet another year, a list of "must-do" events, an event plan for Christmas Day which is fraught with potentially all the wrong conversations...just remember: Agony is not the only option. There’s always the possibility that You might surprise yourself. Because you are astonishing. XOXO Want some simple ideas? to relieve stress, make your day, your month simpler and easier? You will find them in my private group. Link is in the Bio.

01.01.2022 It's been an extraordinary week. I've seen a number of new clients this week, because they are afraid of being left behind. Some have found me by accident, others have been referred to me. It's nothing that I've promoted...quite the opposite.... The stories of frustration and overwhelm, of not being able to process information fast enough, of not being able to comprehend others / failing relationships/ loneliness, failures where they thought they would have succeeded, are real and heartbreaking. Some know that they have ADHD, others not. They just know that something is wrong and they don't quite know what. They also know that they don't want to live another year like this past year. They want to flourish with their quirky thinking. They know that they have a lot to offer. But, they're tired of being tired, living with gnawing anxieties, and feeling constantly overwhelmed. They're looking for answers and real strategies which will help. I'm feeling very concerned and have been thinking about what I can do to help. So, I'm offering this. I'm opening up coaching sessions through the holidays. This way anyone struggling can start the new year with advantages, not deficits. And a feeling that they can live their life with ease. If this describes you or someone you know and love, and you could do with a little bit of help, message me and let's have a chat. ( free and no obligation) I work over Zoom, via Skype, and in person. Whatever is easiest. I'm also told that 5 minutes with me and your shoulders "unhunch" from your ears. Interested? Yes? If so, message me and let's see if I am the right person to help you.
