19.01.2022 Thoughts and Prayers go out to Alex Zanardi and his family. Motorsports legend and 4x Paralympian winning gold and silver in hand-cycling, involved in an accident with a truck yesterday while competing. If anyone can get through this it will be him. #Zanardi #strength

19.01.2022 Happy Thursday Everyone! It is almost the weekend which means a new blog post soon! Have you read this week's post all about how to ask a disabled person if they need assistance? Go to the Living Abled page to read it!

17.01.2022 Hayley Apelt, my incredible Aunty and Children's Author, wrote this book all about diversity, and inclusivity within the community. I wish this book was around when I was trying to understand and accept my dis-ability. This book is the epitome of recognising how your uniqueness is what makes you abled. If you are after some educational children's books, I can't recommend her work enough. Give her page a follow. https://www.hayleyapelt.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com.../hayleyapeltauthor/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/hayleyapeltauthor/

14.01.2022 The US Open is going ahead without the Juniors, Mixed Doubles or Wheelchair divisions this year. It saddens me to know how long Dylan has campaigned for Disability equality, and to see the US Tennis Association deciding this without consulting the athletes is heartbreaking. Being seen and treated as equal, as well as feeling equal and abled, is a huge reason as to why this blog was created. To my Dis-abled readers, please know you are still very valued in society. It may not feel like it, but believe me you are cherished, and valued.

13.01.2022 Happy weekend everyone! Have you read this week's blog post about my opinions on the US Open? Go to the pinned link at the top of the Living Abled Facebook page to read it! See you all soon!! -Rhi xo

11.01.2022 I feel incredibly sorry for this family. It is clear every day that disability discrimination is still happening in this country. I hope this family's appeal wins and they can stay. Hope you all have a great Saturday.
