As you know the most recent COVID-19 cases have been linked to the Brisbane Youth Detention Centre. Below is a prayer request from Recon Church. Please join us praying for the kids, and the ministry in this time: "Please pray for the kids in BYDC. Those rooms get lonelier and smaller every hour of being in isolation and we dont know how long they could be in t...heir rooms. They say 72 hrs in isolation starts to impact mental health. Please also pray for their families; the Staff and their families; for BYDC Senior Management; and that churches will stand up prayerfully in this time. Pray for our Sovereign God to have his way and be glorified in this situation, In Christ, G + Nat"

05.01.2022 Thanks to those who came along to help out with the gardening on weekend. It was a lot of fun to hang out with old friends and meet new ones while helping our church property look a little more alive. Youll be happy to know that the new garden came together with minimal cost. Were thankful for the generous donations to make it happen (e.g. mulch) as well as the free plants from the council. Thanks also to Bulimba Creek Catchment Coordinating Committee (B4C) who helped us select plants, added to our free plants, pre dug holes for the plants and gave us lots of pointers to help our new garden thrive!
