24.01.2022 DIY Grout Paste Watch me make this super easy, super effective grout paste for those tough cleaning jobs around your home!

20.01.2022 Keep Melburnians in Your Thoughts I'm smiling here because I'm out of the house after a week of self isolating, following a mandatory Covid test preceding a hospital procedure I had on Friday. I'm truly happy, because I am outside, moving my body and feeling the sun on my skin. I didn't realise just how depressed I would get by having this one freedom restricted. I was so blue. I felt anxious, and my sleep was suffering. This was after just one week! But those with positive t...ests, those who've been in contact with known cases or those who are forced to isolate after crossing state borders have to isolate for 2 weeks. And then there are the restrictions we've been under here for the better part of the last 3 months now. The nightly curfews, the 5 Km zone we must remain in, mandatory masking, no socialising, homeschooling, working from home. It's all for the greater good, but is it? I'm really starting to crack, and I don't feel I'm alone here It's been a year of Iso birthdays, Zoom trainings for sports, hubby and I trying to manage the kids, while we both work from home, and need I mention the grocery bill?! It's been like never ending school holidays, where they're all home, all the time, and eating non stop!! I seriously can't keep up! But this adds to the stress I've been feeling, but unhealthily ignoring, immeasurably And as we are not seemingly trending downwards rapidly enough to satisfy the powers that be, it would seem that the projected date we might've been finally allowed more freedom will most certainly be pushed back The kids will return to school this week, in an attempt to give them some semblance of normalcy after a most abnormal year. But we must still not venture more than 5 Kms from home. We must still not gather in groups larger than 2 Adults and 2 children from 2 households in open areas. We must now (from tomorrow) wear proper masks, no longer will scarves or face shields be considered adequate, whenever we are in public. This, I am really struggling with. People seemingly feel that wearing a mask somehow also equals zero eye contact, and I don't know about you, but I NEED human connection. We are not ok here in Melbourne!!

18.01.2022 Bathtime Bliss!! I've had some serious stuff I've been trying to shift in my bod. 2 trips to my Chiro and a new pillow have been some of my management techniques thus far. My oily go-tos have been my Copaiba softgels, and layering my Copaiba oil with my Ice Blue Rub topically. And now I'm luxuriating in my bathtub in my Magnesium Salts infused with Fractionated Coconut Oil with Aromatouch and Pink Pepper. My bod is already responding beautifully after a 20 minute soak! How a...mazing are these oils, seriously?! I don't know where I would be without them Aromatouch is the Spa Blend in dôTERRA and is the one I always reach for in my bath blends. And is the one my kids reach for after sport or when they're feeling discomfort in their little bods. It's a gentler version of the Ice Blue, if you're a fan of it, but are looking for a different one yo try. Pink Pepper is my secret addition. I love revealing all the juice on these oils over in my Members Only Support Group, if you're in my Oily Tribe, you will always be learning from me. It's the thing I really pride myself on, as a leader. Let's chat if you're looking to support yourself more naturally and ditch those pesky toxins in your daily use products!

17.01.2022 Self Care Sunday!! My self care Sunday looks like this. I luxuriated in a hot shower and slathered myself with the sensuous dôTERRA Spa Body Scrub, then followed that with the luscious decadent Body Butter. And my face was needing some TLC so I reached for my well loved Mud Mask, which I followed up with my Verage Toner, Serum and Moisturiser with a drop of Yarrow Pom. My skin feels like silk and my soul feels nourished, especially after indulging in a cuppa with some dark ch...ocolate A lot of people don't realise that dôTERRA is not just an essential oil company. They really strive to provide ranges of items to help you detox your home and truly live a low tox lifestyle. These products feature essential oils, natural ingredients and are never tested on animals. I feel so good knowing that I have these options at my fingertips whenever I'm needing a day of self love. What's your Self Care Sunday looking like? I hope you're finding some time to love on yourself today

17.01.2022 Making Flavoured Chocolate!! I thought I'd bring you a quick and easy DIY flavoured choc vid today. So easy, it's like child's play! In fact, I've got one of my minions helping me on this one! A great treat on a cold rainy day, like today.....or any day really! These are best stored in the freezer and if you need to hide them away from small humans, best stored in an empty frozen veg bag (No one ever looks there!!)

15.01.2022 Ok, so I'm having to self isolate for a week following my Covid test yesterday and while awaiting my procedure next Friday. I just came across this and found it so funny. It's a toss up for me between House 2 and House 3. What's your preference?!

15.01.2022 Ohhhh, this will be fun!

14.01.2022 Evicting the General Anaesthetic This blend has featured heavily in my protocol since my procedure yesterday. That general anaesthesia really does a number on me! Luckily, It's primarily the headaches that plague me. I've come to understand that the reduction of the cerebral spinal fluid is the reason for that. I thank YouTube anaesthetist vids for that jewel! 2 AM searches while I struggled for sleep The Zendocrine blend is your oily option for supporting your entire endocr...ine system and is amazing for supporting elimination of foreign substances from your bod. I was using it during our terrible fires earlier this year, and I use it as part of the 30 Day Cleanse. In this case, It's supporting my bod to do it's thing. I had a foot soak with my Zendocrine, Cilantro and Adaptiv and Magnesium Salt and have taken the softgels 3x a day. Feeling much better 24 hours on and out on my walk, after a week of self isolating! This blend is a must have in your arsenal for those times when you overdo it, or are needing to give your body some help in cleansing itself See more

12.01.2022 And they're gone!! I hope you got yours before it sold out!!

10.01.2022 Keeping My Calm In for a medical procedure today. Not a fan of general anaesthesia, so kinda in freak out mode! So glad I have my Adaptiv Calming Blend with me. Just smelling this is chilling me right out. Keep me in your thoughts today.

06.01.2022 Healing my Gut It's friggin freezing here in the Gully today! Some typically manic Spring weather. We had the fire on last night and dinner was a slow cooker meal. Today, we have a roast chicken dinner on the menu, and my family just never seem eat the leftovers, so I've lined it up to make a bone broth, so the leftovers go into that. I love bone broth for its collagen, specifically. Collagen is great for promoting healthy skin, hair and nails and supports gut healing (a majo...r aim for me right now). Today I've chucked in 3 chicken frames, a massive tray of chicken feet, some lemons from the neighbour's tree, garlic, black pepper ACV and Thyme. I was a bit short of the herb, so I used a few drops of the EO to boost the flavour! This will be loaded with collagen and gelatin and will be a great source of essential minerals Keeping our guts healthy is one of the best ways to ensure our immune system is firing on all cylinders. And at the moment, nothing is more important while we battle this invisible enemy. I'll be adding the broth to recipes and sipping on it, post workout, as well How have you been boosting your immune system over the past months? I'm curious to know what everyone's magic bullet is!

06.01.2022 Gettin it done! Headed out for my run. Trying to even out this farmers tan from winter sun exposure and I was truly competing with ridiculous wind while trying to snap this pic. Got my Motivate on to kick my a$$ into high gear. Haven't run for a while, so I'll need it. This blend is made of Peppermint, Clementine, Coriander, Basil, Yuzu, Melissa, Rosemary and Vanilla and smells delicious! Plus, it totally lives up to it's name! I love this one first thing in the morning and when you hit that afternoon slump and might be tempted to reach for some caffeine to recharge. As I'm caffeine free these days, I love having this blend in my pocket!

02.01.2022 Self Isolating This is going to be a week of pure hell for me! I have a procedure booked for next Friday and was required to go for a Covid test and now am required to self isolate until my procedure in a week. And today is a corker of a day weather wise, so I've dragged my camp chair out to the front yard to sun myself. Went to snap this photo and I got not one, but two photobombers! But at least I have company, so no complaints really I got a great compliment from the gal ...in reception at Box Hill Hospital. She said I smelled beautiful! I was wearing Rose and Jasmine and had just applied my OnGuard Hand Sanitizing Mist, so a bit unsure of which smell she was referring to, but they all smell amazing if you ask me So, help me out here. One thing I've done religiously in all these months of lockdown in the Mebourne metro area, has been go for my daily walks. I change my route often and try to avoid people as much as possible, for obvious reasons, but this is truly my brain space. I think I might really lose the plot having to stay home for a whole week! I like my yoga, so can increase that I suppose, but what else can I do to keep my sanity intact?! I fear I'll start eating out of boredom, and that can't happen. Help a sista out!

01.01.2022 A taste of freedom! 23 Ks from home. Enjoying the glorious sun on this Melbourne Cup Day. Never was one for frocking up for the big race anyway. But love that Melbourne takes a holiday for a ball game one weekend, and then a horse race the next! I'll take it!
