25.01.2022 TESTIMONIAL A Work in Progress I had the recent honor of going through most of my wardrobe with Denise Cavanough of Living Expression. Well! What a tour through past choices: good, bad, and ugly, both in terms of purchases and lifestyle choices that led for instance, to fluctuations in weight. Clothes are with and on us almost all of the time (unless we are nudists), and they become imbued with how we are living. There are some clothes (those I have kept) that reflect m...e in all my graceful spunk and style. Others were a poor representation of me, be that because they were too girly, too revealing, not mine to begin with, too big, too old-fashioned, etc. These I let go of. With each garment, Denise honored me by reflecting back what she felt worked to support me and what didn’t. We came up with surprising combinations that really work, and when taking these to the outside world, on my return to work, each has been deeply appreciated - and then some! 24.01.2022 I love how my house lets me know when it’s time to clean out and spring clean the next area in my house. It’s like it has its own list of what is needed next. Sometimes I’m not always quick if the mark but it sits patiently waiting until I get to it, with a little nudge each time I enter the room. This morning it was the laundry that couldn’t wait any longer
23.01.2022 I started reorganising the hall cupboard, it had been on my radar all week just waiting for it’s turn. I’ve lined the cupboards with thick wrapping paper I had in the cupboard. I love attention to detail. All finished.
22.01.2022 I love Cleaning When I choose to connect to my body as my first step in my cleaning routine, there is a natural order that flows, the next thing that needs to be done feels like it is on a conveyer belt, it just slides into place ready to be put away. Before I know it the kitchen is all clean and sorted. It glows. I simply love the feeling of a tidy house. Sometimes I stop during my day, stand and feel how amazing the house feels. When I’m walking around the house I get lit...tle sign posts pop up of what is next. The other day while putting the folding away in the linen cupboard, I felt how having paper under my sheets and towel was one of my next things to do. I knew that I already had the paper so I got it out and put it on the bed for when I was ready to do the cupboard.
22.01.2022 I had been going through papers before the staying at home, a basket was sitting on the office floor , I’d start to finish it and put it all on the massage table wouldn’t get to it, then back into the basket. I was pondering on my ability to complete things and said to myself , that’s it I’m finishing today. I had a pj day as I didn’t have to work and worked my way through the last bit. In the process I cleaned out all the files and collected a lot of paper for the fire outside. This little folder has a few things that I have to read through or ring someone. Feels amazing completion.
22.01.2022 Getting my house in Order. Today I felt to clean behind the washing machine. I said it to Chris and we immediately together pulled it out, I wiped behind the washing machine, cleaned the tiles, the windows and tracks that I usually can’t reach completely and then it was back home in its usual spot. It was so lovely feeling the completion. This is something we are working on in our time at home together. I love my laundry

14.01.2022 Today I cleaned behind the fridge, it is probably 12 months since it was cleaned last time. It only took a minute to pull it forward, and then wipe down all the side the top and mostly under were it had sat for 12 months . It’s so interesting how things can seem like a big job but when you start they only take 5-10 minutes to get done, and then feel so awesomely amazing . Love cleaning. I forgot to take the before photo, so only have the dust pan to show the things that were there, but not the accumulation of dust .
14.01.2022 I love the feeling of an empty ironing basket and no waiting to be ironed clothes hanging over it.
13.01.2022 It wasn’t that long ago that I would wash up and leave the water in the sink, this went on for years, try as I may I could not consistently make it a habit to let out the water and clean the sink when I finished washing up. For the last few months i have been keeping the whole bench clear (mostly). It just happened, one night I said to myself that I would not go to bed without the bench and sink being clear, the only thing on it is our iPhones getting charged besides my littl...e arrangement on the end. When the social distancing started I mixed a blend of oils with water and now I spray it during the day as well as at night. It is a beautiful blend of essential oils that I had in the cupboard. It feels amazing when I have wiped and cleaned the bench. I’m feeling that what made the difference is that I made it an absolute, made it a ritual using my oils which made it so much more loving. Now I love to stand and look at the gorgeous bench and sink. A stop to appreciate. See more
13.01.2022 HANDY HINTS The stainless steel sink plugs can get really yuck, the simplest way to clean them is to put into the dishwasher, also if you used curly steel mits to clean saucepans (not those old ones that send shivers down your spine),they can also go into the dishwasher, while we’re cleaning everything, I also put the screen from the fan over the stove in as well. Just on a normal cycle.

11.01.2022 Testimonial My first wardrobe session with Denise Cavanough proved to be a much deeper experience than I had originally anticipated! Her easy-going approach and astute observations, along with a healthy dose of inquisitiveness, unveiled a plethora of ways that I had been actually hiding the amazingness that I now can more clearly see is my natural way, but that I was suppressing in the way I settled for certain aspects of my wardrobe choices, even down to the way I blocked my closet with a swivel chair! This is an example of one of the many great observations Denise made that had previously not even been on my ‘radar’ and for which I am truly grateful. I’m looking forward to continuing this exploration, that for me now feels like a true healing modality and much more than a simple wardrobe tune-up.
10.01.2022 This morning it was the curtain ‘s turn to come to the head of the list. I tied all the clips together and then put them in a laundry bag. That way I didn’t have to take all the curtain clips out. It looked a bit funny but saved a lot of fiddling around taking them out and putting them back and only 1 clip came off the curtain. My list arrives as needed, then there is no trying to fit it in, I just do it. It’s amazing how such a little thing can lift the room. Yesterday I cleaned out the bedside draws and every time I walked into the room during the day I had to stop and feel how gorgeous it felt. The little things in life are really the hugest . I love to clean.

06.01.2022 Today I was helping Chris clean up the shed. He has been working on it for a few days , slowly moving around the shed. Today we did the shelves together, he worked out what needed to go, where things needed to be and I cleaned, positioned, and like any retail person, faced everything forward . I love order

02.01.2022 Yesterday I had a delightful online session with Gina going through her wardrobe, I haven't laughed so much in ages. So good for the soul. If you would like a free online wardrobe session during April, just comment and your on your way. With Love Denise... Today I had one of my greatest shopping sprees! Denise and I headed to my wardrobe and I was supported to rediscover the sass in the closet. I have struggled forever to discard unwanted items whether it’s because I’d paid top dollar for some items, or I had an attachment I was never strong enough to get rid of that which was needed to be discarded. Recently, I could sense a staleness when I went to my clothes and wardrobe it wasn’t like it was ‘dirty’ but it just felt cumbersome and off and didn’t inspire. But oh my goodness, Denise supported me to just go there and discard; we had so much fun. I love Denise’s sense of humor and warmth I felt very supported yet there is an authority and assurance from her, which simply directed me to know what was in and what was out. What I also loved was how I claimed and reconnected to the joy of a lot of my clothes; Denise offered some tips to reinvigorate some favorites I didn’t want to let go of a trim here, a pilling there, mixing up with other clothes I hadn’t thought of. It was a heck of a lot of fun. I thoroughly recommend taking Denise with you through your wardrobe by the end, I could feel how clearing out my cupboards, was support and reflection to how I felt in my confidence and attitude to myself I felt re-invigorated on my inside.
