19.01.2022 Armistice Day is today , 11th November and is also known as Remembrance Day. It marks the day World War One ended, at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, back in 1918. Nowadays, people remember those who were lost in the war by holding a two-minute silence and by wearing a red poppy.#remembranceday #livinglearning #pakenham

18.01.2022 Living Learning appreciates the hard work of the Volunteers making the masks. There were a number of Volunteers who sewed over 200 masks each. The response has been extraordinary. We will give everyone a rest for now. We may extend the program as the demand arises now that scarves and bandanas are no longer acceptable options for masks. #livinglearning #volunteers #community #masks

18.01.2022 Today we're highlighting Athena's English as an Additional Language (EAL) class. It's fascinating what we can learn from conversations about customs and practices around the world. Did you know about the tradition of Raksha Bandhan, which is a Hindu custom that celebrates the eternal bonds between brother and sister? Thank you Verma for describing this wonderful custom to the class. To all brothers and sisters everywhere, Happy Raksha Bandhan.

14.01.2022 Happy Father's Day! Appreciating all dads on this special day for everything you do. And remembering those dads no longer with us. xx

01.01.2022 Welcome to Harmony Week 2021. We're happy to share another performance representing Bangladeshi culture and history. This performance tells the story of boatmen at sea trying to earn a living while a storm is gathering. They must keep going, fighting with all their physical and mental strength, against all the odds, to come back to their families and provide food. The song is about hope and light at the end of a hard journey, which keeps everyone moving forward.... Thank you to the performers for giving us a glimpse of Bangladeshi culture. #harmonyweek #everyonebelongs
