23.01.2022 Women, it is never too late and you are never too old to claim yourself. ~ Mirtha Lauvergnas, 75 years. #women #beauty #depth #wisdom

23.01.2022 Do you have an autoimmune disorder? Do you re-injure yourself in the same part of the body often? Is arthritis your pain? Dr Maxine certainly makes the world of rheumatology cool but she also brings a very practical yet deep understanding of how we can support the body with debilitating but sometimes those niggling conditions that get in the way to us feeling 100% in our every day. Looking forward to hearing more! ... #musculoskeletal #connectivetissue #autoimmune #arthritis #osteoperosis #gout #rheumatology #selfcarequeen

20.01.2022 Always a delight to hear the wise and o-so-loveable Jean Gamble present about what it means to truly trust yourself (not just trying to convince yourself you are confident, happy or 'on it'). This will be one of my last Life is Medicine's for a little while so I would love you to join me if you can make it - guaranteed to be another corker of a workshop!

20.01.2022 "Anxiety and stress have become a worldwide epidemic, so much so that these symptoms are being seen in children and teens with increasing frequency. Unfortunatl...y in todays society, the feelings of being stressed, anxious and overwhelmed have become 'normal’ and as a result of this, too often these destructive feelings are no longer being recognised as a concern and instead have come to be accepted as part of our everyday lives." Join us as we explore this topic at the next Well-being for Women in Sydney. Booking details for this event + Life is Medicine: 'True Living - Trusting in You' in our latest newsletter below . . .

18.01.2022 "We are unable to change another person's behaviour, remember our limitations. Too frequently we spend time attempting the impossible - attempting to change ano...ther person's behaviour. The only person's behaviour we can change is our own. What people choose to do with our behaviour change is up to them." 18.01.2022 What's being exposed here is huge. How informed (and empowered) can we really be as patients if our doctors - our honest doctors - are struggling to distinguish the accurate from the false research. 50% of studies are believed to be misleading or incorrect in some way according to some of the worlds most respected doctors and medical journal editors. What do we do with that? Ask questions - read the research ourselves, find practitioners we know do the same and listen intently to what our own body is communicating to us. #truthinmedicine #researchyourresearch #pharmacorruption

13.01.2022 Feeling comfortable in your skin whatever that skin does look like, in celebration of ALL that you are, in fact, is where it's at . . .

12.01.2022 So simple yet so effective - when we take a moment to connect life can feel a little lighter and brighter

12.01.2022 This is delicious as it looks - and it appears 7-year-olds agree (minus the chilli... or in my case a little extra chilli!)

07.01.2022 What a brilliant article about why we need to take a closer look at how food is affecting us . . . It is possible that processed foods are sometimes less expensive in the short term. But in the long term, with 500 million people currently living with Diabetes 2 (and no end of the growth of that epidemic in sight) and each diabetic (in the USA for example) costing $14,000 per annum to be treated for diabetes, then the food equation becomes a lot more expensive in the medium ...and longer terms. These are only the financials the burden of these diseases makes for a very uncomfortable life. Cheap processed food + chronic disease costs are much more expensive than true and healthy foods. It is the short-term view versus long-term view. It is the small picture versus the big picture view. The Food Pyramid has a lot to be accounted for. http://www.unimedliving.com///the-livingness-and-food.html

04.01.2022 Gold from Natalie Benhayon at the workshop on Sunday. #quote #gold #truth #selflove

04.01.2022 There is a wisdom we've all connected with. You know, when you read a great quote by a philosopher of aeons past and you go 'bam' YES! that's so true and releva...nt to me right now. Or, a friend delivers a profound yet simple one-liner that is exactly what you were trying to get out but hadn't quite nailed it. There's a wisdom we know deep in our bones to be the truth of the way it is - not just for us alone, but for everyone - for all of us. A wisdom we can all connect to at any one time - we all have access to it AND we all know everyone else has access to it too (even if we don't want to admit this at times). It's an ancient wisdom that each day I appreciate more and more - that it's there for us all to use, should we lay our burdens and hurts down for a moment. For me, the purpose of each day is to re-claim that wisdom in my expression. The purpose is to share via my every movement (be that in word or how I carry my body) - the fact that each and every one of us has access to this wisdom. Whilst I absolutely appreciate my choice to make the steps back to living this ancient wisdom I also deeply appreciate how this process has been accelerated by the support of those around me, particularly Serge Benhayon who has held me without an ounce of judgement - with a consistency I've not felt before. He personifies absolute love without an ounce of hedonism, emotion, flakiness or mention of the word 'enlightenment' (an empty love that I use to hold as the ideal). The deepest thanks I can give this man is to live the truth of this wisdom, though I know he never expects or even desires thanks. That in itself is a great healing for me. Learning about the lineage of philosophers, scientists, writers, alchemists, mathematicians, politicians, artists and healers who have walked the Ancient Wisdom through time has also brought great joy to my heart as I reawaken this wisdom from within myself. Think Pythagoras, Socrates, Hermes, Patanjali, Hypatia, Francis Bacon, Da Vinci, Shakespear to name a few of the well-known ones. I am also realising that there is only true joy when we I share it with another. I found this video by Professor Bill Foley after I wrote this post - a grand confirmation of all that we know deep in our bones. Enjoy and revel in the fact that you share this too

02.01.2022 If you know anyone who has been affected by breast cancer - including carers and relatives - please share this video with them. Jean Gamble alongside two other ...women will honestly explore their experience and share a remarkable (by today’s standards) alternative to ‘life after breast cancer’. #breastcancer #lifeaftercancer #esotericwomenshealth #wellbeing
