24.01.2022 A simple way to help bees and help your garden at the same time.

21.01.2022 Bios Urn design - solving the problem of high PH in cremation ashes. The Bios Urn has a special design which allows for the healthy growth of a tree, flower, or plant, even when planting in cremation ashes. It contains an upper and lower capsule, the upper capsule has been designed to hold a special expansion soil disc made of coconut-peat, vermiculite, and seeds/seedling of the user choice. The lower portion of the urn houses the ashes. The design of the Bios Urn is intentional, as ashes must be kept separate from the seeds, especially during the first 3 months of growth regardless of if the user use a sprout, or seeds, because ashes have high PH levels which can negatively affect, or even stunt growth.

20.01.2022 Sadly, the pain of losing those dear to us is something we will have to deal with at some point in our lives. Keeping small mementos that remind you of happy times shared in the past can sometimes help. In Perth, 80% of funeral services are cremations. Having a cremation allows you to bring home your lost loved one's cremated ashes. In the early stages of grief, it can be hard to think of anything but your loss and pain. Keeping the ashes at home means you can gather family ...and friend for a memorial at a later date. This can be lovely way to think about the time you got to spend with your loved one, what their life meant to you and how many other lives were touched. And it can be whenever you are ready. The Metropolitan Cemeteries Board website has plenty of clear information about funerals, cremations and memorials to help you make these important decisions. http://www.mcb.wa.gov.au/cremation-memorials/cremations

18.01.2022 This definitely something that could work in Australia - would certainly help decrease the Heat Island effect in our cities and suburbs.

08.01.2022 Cemeteries use valuable land and upset the neighbours. The Bios Urn can turn cemeteries into forests - a much better fit for the proposed areas.

06.01.2022 Did you know? When people die, most are buried or cremated. Washington could soon become the first state to allow another option: human composting. . Burial can... leach chemicals into the ground and cremation releases carbon dioxide (CO2). . The new approach is called recomposition" and it involves accelerating the bodies decomposition into a nutrient-dense soil that can then be returned to families. . Not only it is better for the environment, it would also be a less expensive alternative. Human remains would be gently broken down into soil that can be used to sustain new life. . Want to help grow a tree after you have died? Then human composting, or recomposition, may be for you .
