23.01.2022 I feel so blessed to be teaching my Saturday morning Christ-centred yoga classes in the beautiful St Marks Anglican Church hall in Buderim. This hall is over 100 years old and you can sense its history when you walk through the doors. The many feet of past generations that have traveled the same path on their way to worship and praise our Heavenly Father. A place where love has been celebrated in so many ways. I was thinking about this when I was reflecting on the bible verse I chose for today’s class. 1 Corinthians 13:4 such a beautiful description of God’s definition of love and how important love is in our lives

22.01.2022 It is with great excitement that I can let you all know that my Saturday morning yoga classes at St Marks Anglican Church hall in Buderim will be restarting after the school holidays on Saturday 18/7/20 and my Sunday afternoon classes at Coolum Beach Uniting Church hall will restart on 19/7/20 . 15.01.2022 The scripture I shared in my Saturday morning stretch and flow class Colossians 3:12 Message Bible So chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even- tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offence. Forgive as quickly and completely as God forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on wear love. God gently reminded me of the wardrobe He has picked out for me to wear during the week when I had been not so quick to forgive an offence. When I released my feelings to the Lord I felt such a sense of peace and freedom filling me Breathe in fully Gods breath of life and as you exhale release any feelings of offence you’ve been carrying to Jesus for He always tenderly cares for you

13.01.2022 A Walk with Jesus on Easter Monday On Monday morning I woke up with a feeling of heaviness in my heart. Life has recently dealt me some cards that I hadn’t planned for or expected and my emotions have been in some turmoil. I felt a prompting to drive down to the beach and go for a walk in the rain. As I began walking along the coastal path, I started to talk to God and tell Him about the things that were troubling me and weighing heavy on my heart.... As I laid my disappointment, fears, and uncertainty before God, I began to picture Jesus walking beside me, yoked to me and in all His grace and love and mercy, receiving all my burdens and placing them on His shoulders. I asked God if He could exchange these burdens with His truth. Then I waited for Him to show me. I walked out to the beach access to have a look at the ocean and the waves crashing and foaming only a few metres off the shore. As I stood watching the waves, I started contemplating how amazing it is that the ocean can be so wild so close to shore and then lose its power as it comes closer until the waves kiss the sand. It was in this moment that I felt the Lord say to me that if He can control the oceans and set their boundaries so that I can stand on the beach and trust that I won’t be engulfed by the ocean, then also trust Him with the things I cannot see yet. Trust Him with the things that are troubling my heart. Just because I can’t see with my eyes, doesn’t mean that God isn’t working in the unseen. Keep Trusting Him.

10.01.2022 A beautiful young lady in our community has been busy decorating these gorgeous jars and filling them with Easter eggs She is selling them outside La Maison du Patissier cafe Easter Saturday morning and has decided to donate 50c from each jar to Bali Street Mums and kids Project I have had such wonderful support from my local community raising money for Bali Street Mums and kids Project from buying my candles to collecting their 10c bottles for cash for cans! Dear Alli thank you for changing so many lives at our Safe house in Bali . We have moved the mother in with her baby and six children to the cottage next to the house and this is the first time they have slept in beds ! They love their new home . 08.01.2022 I just wanted to say thank you for getting onboard and buying my candles to support The Bali Street Mums Project. I was able to donate $700 to them today and this is the response I received.... Alli we received your donation ! This is so wonderful we will be able to aid so many more children and mothers . To be honest we were feeling very worried in the weekend as we had so many more children coming in ... with medical needs and malnutrition. We were concerned we would not have enough funds to cover everyones needs . But you have made it possible . We feel so relieved. Kim and Diandra I wil continue to be making candles to sell to support this charity

07.01.2022 The scripture I based my yoga class on this morning was Song of Songs 2:6 His left hand cradles my head while His right hand holds me close. I am at rest in this love. I love finding things in nature that are shaped like a heart. I always sense that God is reminding me how much He loves me and that He is with me holding me close in His embrace.

06.01.2022 I just can’t believe the impact donating the proceeds from selling my candles is having in Bali Not only has Kim, the founder of Bali Street Mums Project been able to rent another cottage for a year and take in a homeless Mother and her 6 children who had been begging for food, but the money I’ve donated so far has also gone towards renovating the cottage which has provided much needed income for a desperate local family who have lost jobs due to no tourism They can now provide food for their gorgeous daughters (photo shared with permission) If you would like to support a wonderful project and also enjoy one of my hand made candles I would love you to PM me and to share my post with your friends

05.01.2022 I just wanted to say thank you to all who have purchased my candles the money I have raised has enabled Kym from Bali Street Mums Project to rent another cottage for a year and house, feed and provide medical care for a desperate Mum and her 6 children who have been begging on the streets. My candles are still for sale with further proceeds being put towards providing food for families who have lost income due to COVID as well as educating the children in the slums and teaching the mums skills to run their own micro businesses once tourism returns to Bali. I’m also offering small workshops see below for details of my first class

05.01.2022 I have to admit I was feeling a little apprehensive about teaching my first yoga class after such a long break As I was driving to the beautiful hall at St Marks church in Buderim this morning to take my class, God whispered to me to trust Him. I felt a sense of peace settle in my heart and I could feel God’s presence filling me with His strength and courage I am so grateful that God has placed this dream in my heart and encouraged me every step of the way on this journey of Christ- centred yoga If you would like to join me for a gentle and nourishing yoga practice, I am teaching a weekly Saturday morning class in Buderim from 8-9 am.
