20.01.2022 I had my first wedding of 2019/20 on Saturday. I am so excited to be back in the game and can't wait for all the amazing weddings I have coming up over the next 12 months. 17.01.2022 BUSHFIRE UPDATE // For those that may not be aware, my husband Mark and I live in Franklin in the Huon Valley of Tasmania. Our usually luscious and green surrounds are currently a smoky, charred landscape as an out of control bushfire burns through the valley. We evacuated our home a week ago due to an Emergency Alert. The alert dropped down to Watch and Act a couple of days ago but the fire authorities are still recommending we stay away. The TFS is doing an amazing job ...protecting homes and property. Sadly there have been some home losses but our little home is currently still standing. Please be patient with me if you have an enquiry - I may not be able to check as often as I would like to but I havent forgotten about you. Here is a photo of my husband Mark and I on NYE - happier times!

12.01.2022 I have decided to write a little series on planning a Tasmanian wedding over on my blog. It will be a series of Spotlights on different Tasmanian wedding vendors including venues, photographers, hair stylists and florists. Hopefully this will help you with planning your Tassie wedding. First up is the wedding venue Willie Smiths Apple Shed, which is located in the Huon Valley in Southern Tasmania, not far from where I live!... Let me know in the comments if you ever considered getting married interstate or even overseas - or if you actually did! We wanted to elope in New Zealand but alas, it never happened for us and we married in the still very beautiful Adelaide Hills. I did makeup for Kylie on her wedding day however Kylie looked absolutely stunning and radiant on the day both with and without makeup - her happiness was truly glowing from within. 08.01.2022 IM BACK BABY // The bushfires in the Huon have been downgraded and I am back to head down bum up, working on my biz. Cris and I worked together in Adelaide and became good friends with our shared love of Downton Abbey and our questionable business ideas I was honoured to do makeup for Cris on her wedding day and absolutely loved being a part of her world during the morning and hanging out with her hilarious friends and family - these guys were an absolute hoot!... We celebrated well past midnight by dancing the night away with old and new friends and I had an absolute great time - best wedding I have been to in a while, hands down! 01.01.2022 I had such a blast at Ashleighs wedding in November. After I managed to find and get up the driveway (in-joke) it was all smooth sailing. What a beautiful morning in the countryside!
