13.01.2022 Year 5 Science We have been learning about how light refracts (bends) when it travels from air to water. This is how a rainbow is formed. We wore Diffraction Glasses which have a holographic lens. When you wear the glasses and have a light source (the sun, light bulbs), the light source goes through the holographic surface of the lens and breaks up into the colour spectrum. The rainbow colours we saw were as bright as our glasses!
