16.01.2022 Which trend are you? Check out the 2018 Australian interior design trends. Have you ever noticed that from country to country our design trends are so very different!!! Our environment, landscape and our climate all play a role in how we like to create and design a space. What you may notice is that our landscape in particular will have the biggest influence, if you were to look around at all the colours that we visually see in our environment you will see just how much the ...colour, texture and patterns influence our design. Example if you were to build a home in the snow fields you will most likely build a home that is darker in colour so that it is visible to the eye or depending on climate temperature your home might be lighter or darker in colour in order to reflect or absorb light. There is always function behind design and this is key along with the aesthetics however the great news about design is even though there are trends and design periods that influence what designing our homes may look like, our personal creativity is what ultimately interprets how we like to communicate how our home should feel.
