25.01.2022 Prickly pear vinigerette -2 prickly pear large size -1/5 banana -2 tbsp honney -1 tbsp rice wine viniger... -Juice of half a lemmon -Juce of half a lime -May also need apple juice Directions: Blend pealed pear and banana with honney,viniger,lemon and lime. Add more honney to sweaten or viniger to increas sowernes to taste. If the mixter is a bit thick (depends on size of the fruit you used) add a small amount of apple juice, if to thin add more banana. Then blend after tast and tectcher is acheved and strain befor serving chilled. See more

09.01.2022 Well the prickly pear season is begging to wind to an end. It has been a decent season with plenty of new facet on the employment and customers lists. Even tho the season is almost at a close keep an eye on our sight for future employment options in the coming cherry season.

01.01.2022 Prickly pear chili (serves 4) Ingrediance - 4 small prickly pear - 340 chuck steak - 1tbsp vegi oil... - 1 mediam onion - cup choped green peppers - 1 large garlic clove - 1tbsp chili powder - 1 cup tamato paste - 1cup water - tsp salt - tsp oregano leaf crushed - 1 can kidney beens (optional) Directions: 1. peal and dice the prickely pears. Wash and set aside. 2. cut steak into cubes and brown in the vegi oil. Use a large whock or skillit pan. Remove cubes with slotted spoon as they brown. Add onions, green peppers and garlic; saute stirring often, until tender. Add the prickly pears to mixture, cook 3 minutes. Sprinkle chili powder over mixture; cook and stir one minute. 3. Return meat to pan; add tomatoes, water, salt and oregano; bring to boiling. Lower heat; cover; simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. 4. Drain half the liquid from the beens. Add beans and reserved liquid to skillet; simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes. Engoy with steemed rice of corn bread See more
