22.01.2022 Did you know that local Council is responsible for the maintenance of bus shelters and stop sites? While out on daily walks, I have noticed that bus stops are placed at dangerous points along major and arterial roads. Additionally, there is no protection for users against weather, and no seating provided a many locations. It is my vision that bus stops along Ferntree Gully Road, Wellington Road, Wanda Street, Jacksons Road and surrounding streets provide adequate seating, cov...erage and protection from road users. Too often are commuters put at risk due to the poor placement of bus stops. Let's get them off major roads, and ensure bus stops are user friendly. 16.01.2022 Community sport brings people together. It is also incredibly important to remain active, particularly as we emerge from lockdown, to maintain a healthy physical and mental wellbeing.
