23.01.2022 There has been no changes impacting natural therapy practitioners in Victoria from today’s announcement. There is a meeting taking place on Tuesday for Allied Health which will hopefully shed some light on returning to face to face practice. Keep eye here for further updates . Hope to see you all soon

20.01.2022 To all my clients. So unfortunately recieved the news today which is not what I wanted to bring you all. Please see below.. Of course im gutted to not get back sooner. Just another disappointment. Fingers crossed for Nov 1st ... Update Regarding Restrictions in Metropolitan Melbourne Dear Liz, Further to our email this morning, we have now received confirmation from the Chief Allied Officer that massage therapy, remedial massage therapy and myotherapy are not included in the easing of restrictions this means that you are unable to return to routine services at this time. This is not the news any of us wanted to hear today and we are fully aware how devastating these restrictions have been for our metropolitan Melbourne members. At the end of this email is a table of support services that can be accessed by anyone who is experiencing financial issues, anxiety, stress or depression. The Chief Allied Health Officer also recognises and acknowledges how difficult this has been for you, our members, since the commencement of the Stage 4 restrictions for metro Melbourne, and the impacts of the restrictions on the provision of care and services and she personally appreciates the valued services to many in the community. The focus of staged restrictions has been on ensuring public safety and controlling the gradual increase in the movement of individuals within their community, including limiting the number of health practitioners who may be providing prolonged interpersonal care and services. The Chief Allied Health Officer has committed to keeping us updated and has also advised that at this point, it is likely further restrictions will be eased prior to a move to Third Step restrictions, which are stated to happen on or before 11.59pm 1 November, 2020. As your professional association we will continue to advocate on your behalf to have you returning to work earlier than the next goal post that is set for no longer than 12 days’ time, and will communicate any updates to you as they arise. Ann Davey, CEO Massage & Myotherapy Australia

03.01.2022 You all love neck content! The second-most popular post from 2020 were these stretches for the neck and shoulder. With desk work peaking in 2020 and plenty of lost sleep in the mix, there was a lot of demand for simple techniques to manage injuries and discomfort across the shoulders and neck. https://stuart-hinds.com//five-stretches-for-the-neck-and-

02.01.2022 To all my wonderful clients. Happy first day of Autumn. As some of you are aware I will be finishing up working on 30th March this month until Jan 2022.... For those who are not aware we are due our very wanted and long-awaited baby in May. Its something we have kept very close to ourselves for quiet a while due to lots of heartbreak on our pregnancy journey to get to this stage. My husband and I and our daughter Willow are truly blessed to welcome another little girl to our family on 3rd May. I will return in the new year and look forward to seeing you all again. In meantime I have very limited appointments left before end of the month which is for current clients only. New clients I will resume in new year. Have a wonderful week.
