25.01.2022 Liz from Gem Equine Therapy Pty Ltd is looking at visiting the CQ area next year. Please spread the word and send her a message if you are interested in one of the treatments she offers. Liz travels all over Australia with her machine. "Most of what I do is performance related. I handle everything a chiropractor does but in a totally different way. it may be something as simple as being rough on a particular canter lead. Things like struggling to develop a top line or hold co...ndition when in work, not wanting to work in a frame, lacking engagement, are all issues that usually originate from a physical problem. These are just some of the things I deal with. There are some before and after photos on my Facebook page. As well as the setup in my Gooseneck I am also an Emmett practitioner." https://www.facebook.com/pg/Gem-Equine-Therapy-Pty-Ltd-662579657206057/posts/?ref=page_internal See more
23.01.2022 So, my exciting news is that I'm now a recommended service provider through the Fitzroy Basin Association!! What does this mean? There is currently a bucket of ...funding available for landholders in the Fitzroy Basin region to be reimbursed for certain services of up to 70%. My consultations and workshops come under these services. If you would like a consult regarding soil health and improvement or pasture management you may be able to claim a 70% reimbursement. Consults on weed control are 30% and stock health and handling (horses) 50%. If you have been considering a consultation or would like some education on these subjects please contact me. At this stage, the funding is available until the end of June.

16.01.2022 Lizzie was bred out of a registered Clydesdale mare - Shiralee Abagail by an Imported Gypsy Cob stallion - Windenvale Watson's Caval Ridge. Lizzie is a Registered Drum Horse. The Drum horse breed came about from a mixture of large, heavy coloured breeds (Clydesdales, Shires and Gypsy cobs) that are employed to carry the Kettle Drums that lead all of the Queen's Parades. Ridge as we call him, is still available for stud as is The Butler. Windenvale GypsyCobs is located near Mackay. Lynda sometimes has purebreds and partbreds for sale, so contact her if you are interested in having a Gyspy in your life.
