25.01.2022 Like many couples that planned to get married in 2020, Kelly and Sean waited a lonnnnng time for their rescheduled wedding date to come ‘round! I finally got to officiate their marriage in what was a super relaxed and fun ceremony at Lake George Winery. Congratulations guys, I know it was worth the wait

24.01.2022 This photo was taken by the wonderful Erin Latimore Photography and I LOVE it! Not only because Gracie and Derek were a gorgeous couple to work with but also because it clearly shows that I always have some fun at any ceremony I officiate! This year has been uber quiet for the wedding industry (thank you CV19) so I’m looking forward to the time when weddings like this are once again a common thing for people to get out and enjoy! Oh I should mention that Gracie and Derek had their ceremony at the beautifully rustic Elm Grove

24.01.2022 I was sooooo happy to finally marry June and Tony today. Like many couples, Covid played havoc with their wedding plans but two postponements later, we finally got there! Originally these guys had planned a 250 person celebration at the Arboretum but they got sick of waiting so decided to downsize and do their traditional tea ceremony followed by the legal ceremony at Tony’s parents house. It looked like it was going to be a huge celebration despite the fact they halved their guest list and I wish them all the best for their life ahead... congratulations guys! I hope you have an amazing day

18.01.2022 Today I FINALLY got to marry Amy and Matt! Their wedding was originally planned for January last year but due to the bushfires we had to postpone... and then we had to postpone again due to Covid and the fact that they were in lockdown in Melbourne! But today, I finally got to officiate their surprise wedding... held as part of their daughter’s birthday party. Amy and Matt are undoubtedly one of the most patient couples I’ve married and maybe that’s because they are madly in love and unbelievably happy! Congratulations guys! I hope you have an amazing life together living here in Canberra

17.01.2022 Today I travelled to the lovely little village of Hall to marry Chris and Chloe. These guys first met at a very unique event and have been pretty much inseparable ever since... a slight hiccup with the cars saw the bride arrive later then she planned (and a super happy and emotional groom) but we got there in the end! Congratulations guys, I hope you have a wonderful night and married life

17.01.2022 Today’s wedding was a very intimate affair which was good because it meant the wet weather plan wasn’t a big deal to sort out and everyone present for the ceremony could be included in my selfie! Congratulations G and M, I hope you have a long and happy life together

14.01.2022 Sometimes when Covid keeps delaying your wedding plans you say enough is enough! You head to the gorgeous Canberra lake with a handful of people and you get married because you’re sick of waiting and just want to be able to finally call your partner your wife or husband... and so that’s what Mel and Simon did this morning. It took us a while but we got there in the end! Congratulations guys... it was a perfect ceremony on a perfect day

10.01.2022 Today was my first wedding since the wedding industry was thrown into chaos in March due to COVID-19 and damn, it felt good to be back out there marrying people again! Today’s wedding was top secret so I can’t share my normal selfie, but I will share this... this is one of the measures I had to introduce to ensure that we all stay COVIDSafe! Yep, no more pretty pens for signing the marriage register, only single use pens from here on in. How sad is that?! Anyhoo, a big congratulations to P&S for today! It felt great to do a wedding again... it has been WAY too long! Bring on wedding season

09.01.2022 Covid has really taken its toll on the wedding industry and the wedding I did yesterday was no different to many others that have been affected. Sadly, so many of their guests couldn’t travel to attend but they decided to go ahead anyway... Tamara and Toby went from a rustic farm wedding to a slick and trendy city wedding at Parlor in New Acton. They also went from an afternoon wedding and evening reception to a morning and lunchtime celebration and it looked great! Everything happens for a reason and these guys didn’t let anything stop them from celebrating their special day! Congratulations guys! It was an absolute pleasure officiating your wedding

09.01.2022 Today I FINALLY got to marry Nat and Joe, another of my Covid affected couples. Unfortunately I missed my opportunity and didn’t get my usual selfie with the bride and groom, however I did take some photos of their venue - The Old Coach Stables. This was my first wedding at this venue and I was super impressed... it’s absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations Nat and Joe, I hope you’re enjoying the rest of your wedding day! P.S. If you haven’t booked your wedding venue yet, I would seriously check it out!

08.01.2022 Congratulations Mr and Mrs Chambers!! A slight change to your original plans (thanks Covid!) but we got there in the end It was soooo good to be back doing a big wedding and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect! Bring on wedding season... hopefully every Saturday is as lovely as this one

02.01.2022 Sheesh! It was a hard slog for today’s bride and groom to actually get married! First we had COVID which meant a change in venue and then we had the rain... soooo much rain which meant another change! But we got there in the end. Congratulations Jae and Matty... so glad you chose me to tell your story Wishing you all the best for your celebration tonight and your long life ahead! (Styling by Marley May).

02.01.2022 Sheesh! It was a wee bit windy at the location of my wedding today! Seriously, check out my hair Every year there’s one date that is the most popular of all possible wedding dates and today was it. 10.10.20. Can you work out why lol. It was a long road for this lovely couple to get to today (thank you Covid!), but they made it and are now officially husband and wife. Congratulations Jess and Jakob! I hope you have a long and happy life together
