13.01.2022 Since I am a midwife, it follows that I am very interested in treating the various problems which trouble women in pregnancy, birth and parenting. In March I'll be travelling to the Gold Coast to take part in a Hypnobirthing workshop, to further hone my skills in helping women and their families experience an empowering and comfortable birth. The great advantage of hypnosis is that it has NO SIDE EFFECTS! ... A calm and relaxed mother and baby,with a supportive and confident companion, can have a wonderful, safe and happy birth experience without the use of drugs. Should medical intervention be required, hypnosis can assist the mother to remain calm and in control. I look forward to hearing from you, and would love to help if you're having any problems. 12.01.2022 Would you like an opportunity to find out more about Birth hypnotherapy, and to try a free relaxation session? I have hired the CWA hall in Victoria Avenue( near the Bramble Bay Bowls Club) for three Sundays running from the 26th May, from 2 pm to 4pm. Drop in sometime for a chat about what's out there, whether you're interested in do-it-yourself, hypnobirth classes, or simply recommendations for reading. While you're there, learn the breathing techniques that draw you into deep relaxation, and help you shed stress and tension. I hope to see you there! Lizzy

10.01.2022 I am very happy to announce that I will be offering birthing classes commencing in June. The HypnoBirthing workshop I attended was inspiring! Marie Mongan's syllabus is very comprehensive, spanning five weekly classes, and is recommended to start at around 30 weeks. Imagine birth without pain, fear and exhaustion and picture instead a safe, comfortable and deeply enriching experience, free from drugs and the associated risks to mother and child....and Dads fully involved as ...they become birth companions in the truest sense of the word.
