25.01.2022 Happy Easter to every bunny! While for much of Australia, the Easter holiday this year will resemble those of pre-2020, we remember that it will still be difficult for some. Our thoughts are with those affected by the recent floods. We thank our offices and everyone who has been working tirelessly to lend a hand in affected communities. May the Easter bunny find his way to your house and leave some egg-cellent treats. Our office will be closed Friday 02/04/2021 and Monday 05/04/2021.

Lyn is currently managing our strata complexes but has previously worked as office and sales admin. ... How long have you been working with LJ Hooker? And how did you get into Real Estate? Started in real estate with LJ Hooker Victoria Park 16 years ago. Left the McDonald Corporation after 19 years of working as a kitchen hand, manager, store manager, head office trainer and franchise consultant. Decided I wanted to get away from 24hr 7 days a week shift work and my husband Jason had changed career in a similar manner 18 months prior. What is one of your hobbies/favourite things to do? I’m a mad sports fan, especially cricket and AFL (but pretty much most sports!). Most weekends you’ll find me watching so much sport on tv, often channel surfing several at the same time - love my Fox Sports channels. Also enjoy my 6am outdoor training sessions with Outdoor Active EVP. Favourite music OR favourite song at the moment? Not a huge music listener, my weekly dose is watching the Rage countdown on Saturday mornings with my daughter - watching the video clips can be quite eye opening! I’m more often found listening to sports podcasts. What is your current Movie/TV Series you are obsessed with? Once again, usually anything sports related! Plus enjoying a new FOXTEL series ‘The End’ Favourite thing about working at LJ Hooker? Of course it’s the fabulous people we work with, such a great bunch with lots of laughter (keeps us sane ) Also love the variety and new experiences - no 2 days are ever the same!

And how did you get into Real Estate? I’ve been with LJ Hooker for almost 8 years now. I grew up with family buying properties and renovating them over the years. This is where my love of real estate started, seeing an empty shell become a home. When I was at university, I worked with a building company, it was only a matter of time before I ended up at LJ Hooker. What is one of your hobbies/favourite things to do pre and during COVID19? When I’m not at work I will be with my daughter spending time with family and friends. I can assure you 100% of the time there will be lots of music playing. Favourite music OR favourite song at the moment? Favourite music is smooth RnB, however, loving a bit of Pierce Brothers right now. What is your current Movie/TV Series you are obsessed with? I just finished watching Power on Stan, but have just found Man Like Mobeen on Netflix funny easy watching, and the husband doesn’t mind it either so that’s a bonus we finally have something to watch together Favourite thing about working at LJ Hooker? My favourite thing about LJ Hooker is I feel at home. Starting in this office quite young it feels just like family. My 2-year-old daughter quite often comes to functions and events and I can see that this will be a safe space for her too.
