Due to COVID restrictions on numbers No day memberships will be accepted. When: Sunday the 6th December ... Entries/to Jo Byrne by Wednesday the 2nd December. No entries will be accepted on the day. 24.01.2022 Hi all! We would just like to extend a massive congratulations to Ellie Walduck who has been selected by ktm Australia to race in the 2019 aus x open. She will be racing at marvel stadium on 30th November. 20 children aged 7/8 around Australia have been selected. Ellie will be part of a VIP experience which includes a full setup in the ktm factory truck and undertake signings for fans, full 2019 ktm 50sx to ride and fully sponsored gear set to take home. Ellie will be und...er the supervision of stars like chad reed and Ricky Carmichael who will take the kids on their official track walk. Ellie will be taking her dad with her to share the experience and she is really hoping there are more girls there! Good luck Ellie!!

22.01.2022 Next time youre at the track, make sure to check out our new display! The committee has worked very hard to gather riders name, bike class and podium positions all the way back from 2008! So if youre now retired from the junior track but know you podium finished as a youngster, your name may be there!! We think it looks great!

20.01.2022 ROUND 1 Hi all, the 2020 race season is officially starting! Just a few things to clear up before round one. Race season 2020 will continue as per the existing calender. We hope to get at least 4 rounds in for the season. The comittee have decided that there will be no championship held for the 2020 season, as there are insufficient rounds left in the year to determine championship winners. There will be ribbons issued for each race round as usual. ... Due to the additional Covid requirements we are required to comply with, we will need some extra volunteers on race day- feel free to put your hands up!! Today a committee member arrived at the track for maintenance and came across our facilities being broken into and destroyed. We believe it may have occurred last night some time as tyre tracks into the property are fresh and have not been washed away in the rain. If anyone has any information or may have seen any suspicious activity around the track, we encourage you to message the Facebook page i...mmediately. Police have been called. Please share around!

16.01.2022 COVID19 UPDATE Attention all, It is with regret that the LJMCC committee have decided that in the best interests of all our members, that we will need to postpone the opening round of our 2020 racing season. ... We would like to tentatively reschedule the opening round to the 19th of April. Please be aware that in this unprecedented environment this may also need to change, as the covid-19 situation evolves. 08.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT Hi all. Just a message regarding the Come and Try day. ... The weather forecast for this Saturday is supposed to be very wet. Due to this, the conditions for riders who are trying out the track may (or may not) struggle in mud and rain. We MAY have to change the day to Sunday the 2nd of February (this Sunday) An announcement will be made by 7am tomorrow morning with the decision regarding the day change. 05.01.2022 Corona virus update Hi all, As you are all well aware, Corona virus is among us. The LJMCC racing event this Sunday is still going ahead at this stage. Due to the nature of the event being held outdoors, and number of participants and associated people being well under the 500 number that has been stipulated by the Australian Government.... However, if the Government legislation changes, or there is a further development in the number of cases locally, we will reassess and round 1 may be postponed or cancelled. Anyone who is worried about the virus is not obliged to attend. Please continue to keep safe, healthy, and wash those hands regularly to avoid the spread of germs and illness. Remember to bring along plenty of hand sanitiser to apply frequently throughout the day. Hope this clears up anyones concerns LJMCC

03.01.2022 On behalf of the 2019 LJMCC committee, we would like to thank all riders, families and friends on a wicked season of fun. A major focus this year was to ensure everyone was enjoying them self in this awesome sport and we hope that was achieved! Congratulations to all riders who participated this season, and we hope to see you all next year, to do it all again! The date for the AGM is Tuesday the 21st of January. More details released soon! 03.01.2022 Hi all, the committee have had many questions regarding the club hosting another open day this year. Well, Mums/Dads/Past members get your gear on and dust the cob webs off! Its time to get out of retirement The Open day will be held during Round 9 (the 17th of November) of our calendar year. With day light savings just around the corner, there will be plenty of daylight for the day to run a little longer than usual! ... Some info: The senior riders will be split into a further 2 categories. (Ages 19-30s and 31-up). Anyone participating on the day needs to be members or have been members/parent or family of members before. Normal race fees apply. A minimum of long pants/top, goggles and sturdy boots must be worn and all long hair must be tied up and tucked away. Handle bar ends must me plugged. Bike stands must be removed. No dogs on the property (guide dogs exempted). COSTS: Day membership: $30 Race fees: $10 per rider plus $5 Ambulance fee Second bike: $5 BIKE NUMBERS: To choose a bike number contact Michelle on 0409 139 491 OR on the day check with the girls at sign in to see if the number is available. First in best dressed. It would be great to see as many past members and parents there as possible!!
