24.01.2022 Come on down tonight to to watch our U13/14 Div 1 and 2 take on JCU strikers at our home ground. We have delicious hot food and cold drinks to serve throughout the night. 24.01.2022 Dear Parents/Members/Coaches/Supporters Why not consider joining our team as we strive to grow this great club into the future. Our AGM will be held on Wednesday 25th of November at the Junior Clubhouse, Pezzutti Park, Woree - 7pm start. Please note that many of the roles do not require attendance at meetings each month and many tasks can be fulfilled while the children are at training. We are happy to have grandparents and other family members involved as well. A list of th...e positions and roles has been emailed to all club members. We hope to see you at the meeting. 10.01.2022 Thank you Marlin Coast for hosting a great Carnival for 2020 . I know that we have already posted some great photos from yesterday's MCRFC Soccer Carnival but I had to share this one to show the Spirit of Leichhardt and the effort put in from our 1st Year Coaches Greg & Chenoah Spilstead and Parents. You guys are simply amazing and this brings a smile to our day. Here's what I am talking about - U8 White represented Leichhardt well on and off the field, in the true spirit of the game, played amazing and had a ball!!

10.01.2022 But wait, there's more!! Here are our 2 reps from u13/u14 girls. They won against Townsville 6-1. They have also been selected for the QAS program and Valentina has also been selected for the Peninsula u15 team. Amazing work, girls!!

08.01.2022 What a club! So many representative stars! Here are some action shots of Brodi who is the goalkeeper in the TSP u14 team. They didn't come away with a win against a tough Townsville team (lost 3-2) BUT then they won confidently against Mackay (8-3). What a legend!

Our women’s reserves took part in the Crad Evans Shield in Townsville over the weekend and unfortunately we did not walk away with a win, but we did walk away with big smiles! We would like to give a big thank you to Djarragun College for lending the team the bus which transported them to the competition and back to Cairns. 03.01.2022 A great night for Leichhardt at the FNQ Football Awards last night. Our fabulous JB Talbot-Cooke capped off a great year winning Player of the Year for the Women Reserves competition as well as Golden Boot. Phil Fernandez was named Coach of the Year for the Women Reserves and Glen Hillman and Neil Mapp were voted Coaches of the Year for Colts competition. Fantastic and deserved recognitions!
