24.01.2022 Another blast from the past popping up in Facebook memories. Built this ZC for myself a number of years ago now but as per usual didn’t hang onto it long. Featured in a few magazines back in the day. Blower added by the next owner.

24.01.2022 Track Red XY GT now heading back west after completing its tidy up and driveline rebuild. I did ask if we could put that Ferrari under the GT rather than above just in case of oil leaks etc. I think he thought I was joking

24.01.2022 Both myself and the owner could not be happier with this XA GT. Adam and his team at Southern Classics and Customs have truly excelled, it looks every bit as good in the flesh as it does in the video. Millimeter perfect and absolutely blemish free. The bar has truly been set for us to undertake the reassembly to a standard that matches the panel and paint.

24.01.2022 We have 3 XA GT coupes currently underway through LJT Restorations. All 3 are at various stages of panel and paint at Southern Classics and Customs. Until today’s lockdown announcement came through all 3 cars were to be on display at the Adelaide Auto Expo this weekend as part of the Southern Classics display demonstrating a before, during and after of this iconic model during the panel and paint process. Such a shame for it not to go ahead but Adam from Southern Classics has been kind enough to set up what you would have seen this weekend. There is a huge amount of work that goes into these cars ensuring everything you don’t see is as good as everything you do see. That’s exactly what we need out of our Restorations and that’s precisely what Southern Classics gives us, every single time.

22.01.2022 As Restorations such as this don’t happen overnight it’s easy to forget what they were like when they came in. Here’s a couple of before and now pics taken when she came into our workshop to be stripped down before making its way to southern classics for panel and paint.

22.01.2022 As the yellow fire XA GT hardtop nears the end of its panel and paint with the masters up at Southern Classics, this lime glaze XA GT RPO hardtop is not that far behind. Under floor looking shmick. Can’t wait to see the lime glaze paint work looking as good as the yellow fire. It’s going to be an all coupe workshop very shortly as reassembly begins

21.01.2022 Pushing on with the drivers door fit out on the yellow fire XA GT while waiting on a few parts. NOS remote mirror, new glass

19.01.2022 Yellow fire XA GT just keeps getting better up at Southern Classics and Customs, real nice glassy lines shining through

09.01.2022 Getting the flashy bits underway for the yellow fire xa gt coupe. NOS thermactor, 73 vac can, motorcraft oil cap, red ring temp sender, correct date water pump etc etc. This engine should have a nice chirp with HO grind cam and getting rid of the gases through a full RPO /HO4 exhaust system Parcel shelf also arrived today

09.01.2022 They’re still out there.........

07.01.2022 Just a work of art. What a stand out car this is going to be.........
