15.01.2022 A few test shots from the QHY183M Mono Cooled CCD Astro Camera, which is a Mono Cooled CCD Astro Camera. The CCD can be cooled to -40C which is a must when takin Extremely long exposure shots of distant Nebula. This here is a quick test of shots of Mars close to Opposition and Saturn right before it dissapeared behind the house. Normally COloration is doen using Filter wheels, we are still waiting for those to arrive, but in the meantime coloured Mars from subsampling off some DSLR shots. So far Loving the imagery of the QHY unit, looking forward to having clearer nights to delve into the power of the amazing 1" Sensor which is Amazingly sensitive to light.
