18.01.2022 Hi VPS community, as I can’t make these for your children at the moment I thought I would share my recipe (from my cousin Wendy) so you can make them together at home. Hope you are all well and have a meaningful Anzac Day. Anzac Cookies Ingredients 1 cup rolled oats... 1 cup plain flour 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup desiccated coconut 125g butter 2 tablespoons golden syrup 1/2 tsp bicarbonate sofa 2 tablespoons boiling water Method Preheat oven to 160 degrees In a large bowl combine oats, flour, sugar and coconut. In a pot gently melt butter and golden syrup. Add boiling water to bicarbonate and add to the butter mix ....wait for the delicious golden foam. Stir butter mix into oat mix. Allow to cool for a few minutes then roll into walnut size balls. Place on lined baking tray and bake...for 15 mins if you like them chewy or 18 mins for a crunchy version.
