02.01.2022 Lilly and Lotus is one of Central Queensland's most sought-after wedding florists with a busy retail front in the heart of Rockhampton. We take great pride in our work and strive for nothing but the highest standard of product. We are seeking an experienced Florist to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a boutique who has been acknowledged and listed as one of the top 5 wedding florists in QLD at the 2017, 2018... and 2019 Annual Bridal Industry Awards (and we're a finalist for the 2020 awards that are taking place in November). The role will consist of the following: Making arrangements for daily retail trade; Maintenance of live plants; Day to day running of the retail shop including, but not limited to stock control, taking orders, deliveries, meeting with and answering enquiries from potential wedding/event clients, cleaning, wholesale orders; Management of event client’s accounts from initial enquiry to completion; Hours are spread over Monday to Saturday weekend availability is essential. To be successful in this role, you will: Be Cert IV qualified or have 3+ years’ industry experience; Have a unique creative flair; Have a friendly, bubbly and outgoing personality; Have excellent attention to detail and take pride in your work and the quality of product you produce; Be confident in your knowledge base; Be available to work weekends and be 150% reliable; Be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised; Be able to work in a fast paced environment We can offer the successful applicant ongoing work with great variety and we allow our florists to show their personality and creativity in their work.
