16.01.2022 An impromptu Longest Lutheran Lunch after the 10.30 service this morning. What a great time together!

15.01.2022 How are you planning to celebrate your Longest Lutheran Lunch event this year? Are you brave enough to hold a Gourmet Grace Gathering? The concept is the same, gather at a long table, linger a long time and hold events over a long way to share Jesus' love with our communities. A Gourmet Grace Gathering extends our connection further, all the way to places like Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya. ... 10% of your guests purchase a 'gourmet' style meal. 90% receive free a humble meal like those provided to Kakuma arrivals. Every $26 raised can provide education for 1 child for a year! That's exceptional value and well worth any gourmet meal, even any porridge meal you may have to endure! Register your congregation, school or group and keep visiting the Longest Lutheran Lunch website and Enews for recipes, ideas, resources and updates.

01.01.2022 Congratulations to Kapunda and Loxton congregations who are bravely taking up the challenge to host a Gourmet Grace Gathering for their communities. If you haven't yet made up your mind whether you will host a Gourmet Grace Gathering or a conventional Long Lunch, there is still plenty of time to get your plans underway. Remember what you serve is less important than the love and hospitality you share with those who come. And if you choose to make your lunch a fundraiser, you will also be helping refugee children in places like Kakuma Refugee Camp receive a better chance at life through education. That makes this year's Longest Lutheran Lunch extend a very long way!
