23.01.2022 Final Reminder: National Feral Cat Management Survey Researchers from RMIT University are looking for volunteers to participate in a survey that asks questi...ons about feral cat management in Australia. The information collected will help to generate a better understanding of feral cat management across the nation, including how to make improvements. The online survey should take around 5 to 10 minutes to complete and will consist primarily of short, multiple-choice questions about feral cats and efforts taken to manage them. Participation is voluntary and, if you choose to participate, you will remain anonymous. 10.01.2022 LLPG is currently working on a 'Pollinator project' with Lismore Primary School. As part of this project the kids had 5 chrysalis to watch hatch. Their first Monarch butterfly emerged today to much excitement! The project also involves students growing seedlings of native grassland species which will be added to their 'Pollinator garden' that has been planted at the front of the school. The Pollinator garden is filled with grassland herbs and flower that once grew across the Victorian Volcanic Plains. We're really enjoyed working with the kids on this project and teaching about the importance of pollinators. The project is thanks to funding from Corangamite Shire's Environmental Fund. #pollinatorgarden #lismoreprimaryschool #corangamiteshire
