23.01.2022 Episode 7 is live! this episode was inspired by some feedback I had received on how I manage the grief I have worked through. This year has been a huge year and so I thought I would share my thoughts and experience. We all go through grief at some stage in our lives. The loss of a loved one is a challenge to navigate through as the grief can impact our whole life.... In this episode we dive deep into grief and how we can allow grief to hold us to ransom. Sometimes life can be cruel. When we lose a loved one it can be difficult to allow ourselves permission to grieve because of all the things that have to be done take over. During this time we forget to be human. In a very similar way, our friends make the usual noise of - they wouldn't want you to feel this way, life goes on, they only wanted the best for you. All these may be true. The question is how do we accept that they are true? This episode is dedicated to my top 5 exercises to help you manage your grief. Grief has a habit of kicking you in the arse if not managed in the best way for you. These exercises are practical and simple to implement. Enjoy. 21.01.2022 It's a new year and that brings on the thought of new years resolutions. However, are new years resolutions sustainable? And why do we need the turn of a new year to set goals? In this episode I take you through a different view point on new years resolutions that shifts from what I can achieve and do to who you are working towards becoming. This idea comes from the thought that if you move into who you want to become then what you want to achieve you will organically achieve.... Having goals, dreams and aspirations are awesome. Being the person who can live those goals, dreams and aspirations ensures sustainability. Pursuing goals and dreams can be a long journey that comes with its highs and lows. And it's the lows that can impact us so much that we turn back towards what we know to keep us safe. In my experience, when we work towards becoming the person who can live those goals, dreams and aspirations the lows are growth points that give us insights into who we are. At each point we become even stronger as we find new ways to live our strengths. This allows us to give more to others while giving and achieving more for ourselves. If you set a goal, ensure you dive into who you need to become to live that goal. This approach will change your success rate in everything you set out to achieve.
