24.01.2022 O U T D O O R C L A S S E S Location drumroll.... Thank you to the Fosterville Gold Tennis Centre for allowing us to use your amazing venue. ... Perfect location for our parents and families to enjoy the lake during the nice spring weather. As we said... There are HUGE changes to the timetable for term 4. We are only running classes on TWO days as we can use multiple spaces at once. These days are Monday and Thursday. This will mean, more than likely, your class time and day will change. BUT, when Dan says we can go back to the studio we will be back to our normal days and times. The updated timetable will be posted in the next day. We know this might not suit everyone and we are very sorry. We are doing all we can to keep our beloved dance school running. Thank you again to all our wonderful dance community. We are excited to continue this journey outdoors. Shan x

23.01.2022 CONCERT UPDATE: Venue and timing TBA following restrictions announcement this weekend. Many different venues have rules on numbers so we are waiting to confirm... what will be allowed. This week classes have been trying on costumes. Students will get 1-2 costumes to take home with them in the last two weeks of term to come to concert ready in! This will eliminate staff handling costumes. This means there won’t be dressing rooms or costume changes as normal. As we have discussed with the dancers this past week, unfortunately due to 2020 being the way it is, our concert will be audienceless (is that a word?) but still amazing! We have a brilliant lighting and film team we work with each year and we are so grateful they are on board once again! Dancers will have a 30-45 minute allocated performance time between the 9am-4pm. We aim to have this time to you Monday! Their performance will be filmed and featured in our 2020 DVD. This will be at a subsidised (2020) rate of $20 and we are taking orders now. You can direct deposit or pay in class this week. The DVD will include all concert performances and a highlight real of the year that was at LM. A great memento to have! 2021 timetable will also be out this Monday at the studio. We will also post timetable online here too for you to secure a spot. We are excited to be adding a new Tiny Dancers class for those under 3 year olds as well We can’t wait to give you more information very soon! Shannyn and the team x

14.01.2022 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q. When it rains will we get a message to say class is cancelled? A. We have some undercover spaces at the centre to utilise s...o we won’t need to cancel for showers. We will cancel class for more severe weather, lightning, hail, code red days etc. Q. What happens if someone else drops my child off and can’t access the QR code. A. That’s fine - We will do it manually Q. Do I have a credit? I can’t remember. A. If you are someone who is in credit, our staff will contact you this week. That will mean fees won’t be paid prior to class but that’s fine as you will have paid for some. We will follow up to let you know of what is owed. For all others, fees must be paid prior to class this week. Q. What happens when Dan lets us go back to the studio? Will you still offer outdoors? A. No, when we are able to head back to the studio we will be. We have the huge roller door that can be opened and will continue to do all the covid safe practices we did last term. Q. How does the sign in and sign out process work? A. All primary school students must be signed in via front gate and signed out via side parking lot gate at the end of their class. All senior students can be dropped off at the front and sign themselves in. They must sign them selves out via parking lot gate, ONLY when parent arrives and walk to parent's car in the side parking lot. Please ensure you are socially distanced and not gathering in groups. My dancer wants to do more than one class, is there spots in other classes? Yes some classes have spots left. We have quite a few available spots in our Prep/1/2 Ballet class too for any dancers wanting to try something different We are thrilled to be able to see you all again Monday and Thursday! No doubt, an out of the ordinary concert for us - But a special day for our dancers to get that on stage experience! Costumes will be sent home this week in class. 06.01.2022 2020. The COVID dance year that was... Term one started like no other! Excited feet stomped the dance floor. We were busy planning our first routine for our mi...dyear show. Then things started becoming a little uneasy and we closed a week early just to be safe. A week later all nonessential businesses had to close. Remote learning commenced. What a journey that was - You are amazing parents!! We started with #lmdanceathome free tutorials for all current enrolled dancers, with one staff member in the studio and a tripod. Our midyear show was cancelled. Then we were back in the studio! Days spent cleaning out our building making everything COVIDsafe. But it wasn't to be - We only lasted three weeks. Up next - we started ZOOM! Dance parties, dress ups, bring your pet, crazy hair, PJ party and lots of fun from home. And then - We were face to face again! This time - Australian open style. Juggling rain and heat, it was just so good to see everyone. The Tennis Centre was so accommodating! Finally, we were home. Back to our happy place. And weren’t the kids excited to see the mirrors! Ha! We were excited to announce that we were having a concert. This has been obviously one of the most challenging years for all. Like so many businesses, change was something you just had to roll with. Everyone's health and safety was always our priority and continues to be. Yesterday... All the challenges and sleepless nights were worth it. The joy our dancers showed on stage is something that will be always remembered. I cannot wait for you all to see how amazing they were. The resilience those students have shown during this year has taught us a thing or two. Thank you’s To my beautiful staff and Mum - Thank you for your outstanding efforts this year. You have all been so supportive and open to any challenge. You are all amazing! To our wonderful families and dancers - Thank you for being so flexible and understanding in this crazy 2020 year. Thank you for our beautiful messages, gifts and thank you’s. We are so grateful to you all. We look forward seeing all new and returning dancers again next year. 05.01.2022 Good afternoon all, We are exited to have secured a space for outdoor classes! It’s a beautiful outdoor venue - private and secure for LM Dancers Due to bein...g outdoors, some changes to the timetable will have to made and we will give you more information early next week. We are absolutely taking new and old enrollements. Our dance school needs you now more than ever in these trying times. Until then, we are waiting patiently to see if anymore changes happen with restrictions over the next couple of days, with the current push for dance schools to be allowed to reopen. Shan x
