25.01.2022 Omadeus (Mozart) IMP (IU) The only imported Tori Gelding in Australia. We feel very privileged to be able to offer this beautiful imported (IU) Estonian Warmblood (Tori) gelding behalf of Dundee Tori Stud.... He is the only imported Tori gelding in Australia and one of only a few registered Tori horses in this country. Omadeus is 7yrs old and a very substantial 16.2hh. In training at Skyline Park Somersby NSW with talented young rider Chloe Mcgoldrick. All the hard work has really been done and he is truly impressive horse that is ready to be enjoyed. This beautiful animal is one of the most divine horses I have ridden and he is a testament to his breeding and training. Omadeus has had over 4.5 years of professional training for dressage and having been champion of his division at the 2015 ACT state Dressage championships. He is a incredibly impressive horse both to look at and to ride. The quality of his training is obvious from the first moment you sit on him. He is gentle and light on your hands with a balanced and easy self carriage. and has a calm and immediate response to all that is asked of him. He is a beautiful dressage horse but is also a horse that has the edge of true versatility. Omadeus sire Oppal is a highly competitive Show Jumper in Europe that holds the high jump record of 2.15m. Omadeus dam is one of only two beautiful Imported Tori mares in Australia. Amadora was purchased from the National Tori stud and imported by Vic and Lorna Karja of Dundee stud in foal with Mozart. Tori horses are a rare breed of Warmblood from Estonia. There are only a handful in Australia. They are Beautiful big solid horses with gentle natures and Omadeus has been produced from the national Tori horse stud in Estonias breeding program which includes crossing to exceptional European Warmblood stallions to produce a top class modern athlete. Mozart was the first Tori horse born in Australia. As well as being well schooled in the dressage arena, Mozart is also working well over jumps and shows obvious natural ability and scope and at the same time is bold and level headed. 24.01.2022 Willow is a Bay, 5 year old Standardbred mare, approximately 15.2hh Willow is a sweet quiet horse, easy to handle in every way. Shes a genuine laid back horse ...that will do whatever you ask of her, shes fine after a spell. Willows been ridden bareback, doubled on, stood up on, nothing fazes her. Shes been out to the beach and ridden though the bush as well as the arena. Willow doesnt pace and will easily pop into a smooth canter. 24.01.2022 SOLD - Martinez 12yrs 14.2hh (approx) Purebred Arabian Gelding. Sire: Desperado (AU) Dam: Poise (AU) Martinez is a great horse to ride, very calm and confident. He is co-operative, genuine honest character that really tries to please. ... He is a lovely horse who naturally travels in a frame and is light in your hands and soft off your legs. In the last 12 months he has done lots of trail riding. He is brave and a great walker with relaxed free moving walk, a large ground covering trot and rocking easy canter. He also has a nice level of education on the flat and is more than ready to become a show or adult riding/ pony club horse. These ridden pictures are of him being used for a lesson for a 13yr rider. 24.01.2022 Woody ~ Price negotiable Chestnut Quarter Pony Gelding rising 4yrs. Woody has a nice solid build and stands approx 13.1hh. Woody has been with us for almost 12 months. We have specifically set him up to be a quiet all rounder for children/family. He has had lots of miles out among the cattle, sheep, kangaroos. He is used to dogs and small children as well as general farm life and Woody is a well adjusted character that is friendly and easy to handle and ride. 22.01.2022 Ive been asked to offer these two for sale. Neither had been ridden in 18 months and have been running in grass paddocks during this time. I have given them bo...th some rides over the last week. Gelding is approx 15.3hh 14yr TB. He is quiet and nice to ride and was particularly good considering the amount of time he has had off, I am told he has had dressage training which shows and he is a very pleasant horse to ride with good transitions, nice circles and calm responsiveness. He is sound and does strike me as a horse that would be a great opportunity for a teenager/adult rider that wants a nice sensible, sound, and educated horse but doesnt have a huge budget. $1500 Mare is 14.3hh Standardbred 8yrs. He is easy to catch, float, saddle, trim etc. He is a nice horse to ride with a good mouth and very comfortable paces and a nice active walk. He is happy to lead out or to follow and is great in the bush having had many miles around cattle, sheep, kangaroos, dogs, etc. Boo has had some basic flat work education including some jumping but does seem to prefer to keep things simple and while his education could be furthered we feel he is best suited to trail riding. 13.01.2022 I am going to offer Tango for sale. Home is going to be very important because Tango is more than just a horse to me, I have known him for 12 years and he is my... friend. He is 14.3hh and 16 yr registered Appaloosa gelding Im asking $3000. Tango is a genuine beginner/ confidence building horse. In fact Tango has been my best lesson horse for kids for a number of years. He is best suited for small children and is great for nervous riders. He is a well trained horse and did compete in Western Pleasure as a younger horse. About 9 years ago he had an accident which left him with nerve damage in his neck which effects the quality of his movement in his back legs. He is no longer as athletic as he once was and is not suitable for competition. He is however a perfect for teaching and is great for beginners and those who have lost confidence. He has done countless lessons and trail rides since. He is perfectly happy and comfortable performing the basics, but it is something a experienced horse person will pick up on. I owned this horse when he was young, and has also been back with me for 4-5 years being used for my own small children and as a lesson horse teaching many people how to ride and regain confidence. He is beautiful horse for that purpose. I did regret that he was no longer suitable for myself to ride but over time I have come to appreciate that his lack of athleticism only makes him so much more suitable for the job of looking after the most valuable little riders. I want a home that is horsey, that I can trust will value him as a beginner/confidence building horse. Polly is very trainable easy going horse and has a lovely naturally balanced and collected way of travelling.
