06.01.2022 It was a fun cricket-filled evening at the club tonight with a great atmosphere and a hive of activity! We hope our 45 Junior Blasters enjoyed their first session with the amazing James Hewitt from the WACA leading a group of very supportive parents. We also had 36 of our Master Blasters playing three separate matches with a skills zone for players waiting for their turn to bat.... And we were so happy to see more than 30 ladies join the Sunset Scorchers! We split into four teams (instead of the usual two) and played across two pitches. New players buddied up with players who took part last year. We welcomed many of our Sunset Scorchers ladies came back at the canteen to enjoy roast beef rolls and a well earned drink while the kids had their dinner sorted with a sausage sizzle Thank you to everyone who came down this evening, got involved or just enjoyed a sausage sizzle. We especially hope the kids had a blast. Good luck to all the junior teams this weekend!
